I bought these lights to replace a cheap heat bulb that burnt out after just a couple weeks. I have had this bulb on a 12 hour timer for almost 2 weeks and its been great. 25w is perfect for smaller turtles. The heat output is very consistent, and my Turtles are using their basking site more than ever before!

I am very disappointed with this light. I bought them and they burn out within a week!

they fell out of the package as glass splinters and the fixtures all over my kitchen when opened. Amazon was advised of this but still wanted the glass shards to be returned.
