I use this light with the light bulb for heat for my aquatic turtles! As you can see they use it! The only thing that I was not happy about was the packaging! The bulbs are ok but came in a sack with no protection cover for them! I also want to let you know that they put the bulbs in with my Fish filters and I had charcoal all over the boxes of bulbs! Thank you

I rarely write reviews of products I purchase.It really isnt fair to others that I dont because I always check reviews on items I buy before I buy them. This is one product I should have gone with the negative reviews. My day geckos basking bulb finally failed after about a year so I purchased these bulbs and adjusted the height of the fixture to get the same temp. I dont know if it was a more focused heat or whatever but I could tell he liked his new light. Unfortunately the first one lasted about a month and I dont have much hope for the others lasting much longer. If after a few months go by without the second one failing Ill update my review. Update - The second one lasted 2 days.

I have been using this bulb for about 6 months now and I am still on the first bulb! I keep my light on for 4-8 hours a day and it is still going strong. I highly recommend this product especially for this price.

They tend to burn out quick, sometimes they only last a couple weeks.

Good product

According to my UV light meter. These bulbs provide *** Zero UVA or UVB... But they are great for heat. Do not plan on using this for any UVB or your reptiles will die.

Purchased the 4 pack based on some reviews that maybe they would not work out of the box, or last only a short time. Still on Bulb #1 after two months. The turtles love to relax under the bulb, so it is doing what I paid for.

I would gladly give these a great rating because I bought them for warmth, knowing damn well these things don’t produce UVB, but people are buying them for UVB which is non existent. My Solarmeter reads 0.0. Reptile, bird, animal owners purchasing this always if it’s too good to be true than it usually is and it’s not worth risking your pets life for a supposed good deal. For warmth’s they’re great though! My stacked enclosures have 8” between bulb and floor and trying to find a suitable bulb is difficult. If I could I’d scoop all of these up.
