Considering it took 2 shipments to receive 4 good lights between the two. 2 were bad on first and second order. Lack of packing for lights....

The bulb fits a regular lite bulb socket, and the outer side does not get hot so its easy to replace. Each bulb comes in its own box which makes storing great. I use one bulb for 6min at a time a few times a week, and it switches with my desk lamp. Very convenient & I keep the bulb in box within reach. Great Product

I had an issue with one of the bulbs, but they were very quick to resolve. The other bulb has been going strong and works perfectly for my turtle. Thanks CTKcom you’ve got a return customer for sure!

The bulb is just a hollow aluminium casing with a bulb inside, no glass to cover the bulb in case it breaks or burns out. I suppose that means the metal casing is reusable, but I have an aquatic turtle, and not real sure how theyll hold up if water gets on them, not to mention Ive seen others say that the bulbs broke and glass got all over their enclosure, so might not be the safest thing for your pets

These bulbs absolutely do NOT emit UVB! I was using the 50 watt version of these through another seller in my baby Savannah monitors tank. Once I switched to them, after a month or two my lizard starting losing his appetite, becoming lethargic, and then got a random kink in his tail that did not occur from any trauma, as his tank is completely safe and he has never been hurt outside of his enclosure. This is extremely scary bc MBD (metabolic bone disease) will absolutely KILL your scale baby if you do not know what to look for! Extremely disgusted that these sellers are lying to sell their product to unsuspecting reptile owners. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE BUYING THEM FOR UVB!!

These lights are a great item for my tortoise who loves to bask on his stone platform
