> 3 dayTHIS SAND IS NICE SIZE AND WORKS VERY WELL . CLOUDED THE WATER A BIT BUT CLEARED UP IN A COUPLE DAYS . I RINSED IT BEFORE ADDING IT TO THE TANK AS I DO WITH MOST SAND I ADDED . I HAVE A MIXTURE OF 4 DIFFERENT SANDS IN MY 135 GAL. AQUARIUM .

> 3 dayBeen doing the aquarium thing for a while now. You can count on Fluval and Carib Sea for quality. This gravel looks good and keeps PH high which Cichlids need. Carib Sea is going to have something that will work and look great no matter what kind of aquarium and what kind of fish you have.

Greater than one weekYou scam me by announcing Carib Sea ACS00222 with a photo that is not the product and what I received is Carib Sea ACS00773 gravel and not the sand that Carib Sea ACS00222 advertises in the photo I feel totally scammed. One as a buyer pays something specific and you send what you want.

> 3 dayI love the look of it but ...... you will need to take your time in cleaning it before you add it to your tank. I got ( 2 ) bags and the first one first I didnt get all the mud rinsed out. I ended up putting about 24 gal of water in my tank and draining it 2 different times. Even with the clarifier it was still real cloudy after a couple of days. This 2nd bag I took my time rinsing about half of it in a separate container and that seemed to worked a lot better. Now for the other 10 lbs ...... You can not get it rinsed completely in the bag like the directions say. Hope this helps someone. It is a real good product for your Lake Tanganyika aquarium.
