> 3 dayI dont know much about monitors, never really cared about it lookin fancy but my boys were teasin me about playing on an old tv so I bough this. They seemed impressed and theyre those picky gamer types so its probably real good. Whatever, that aint the reason Im writing this review. After about 6 months one of the guys tossed me somethin, it went right into the monitor, CRACK, screen was done. I was googlin to see if this was in my wheelhouse to fix and I found out that THEY WILL REPLACE IT FOR A YEAR EVEN IF ITS YOUR FAULT. So I tried calling em, not expectin much. YO THEY AINT LYIN. They had me mail it in and sent me a replacement right away. Using it right now. No run around, no bs, just like YOU GOOD, SEND IT IN. MAN. An actually good company that makes a good thing and stands by their guarantees. Im sold. AOC for life.

> 3 dayFirst, I own a total of 3 of these monitors (C32G1, C32G2, and now the CQ32G2S), and the CQ32G2S is dimmer for some reason. I have played with the settings, but there is a noticeable difference between the CQ32G2S and the C32G2 in brightness. These are attached to monitor arms and sit less than a foot apart from each other. and you can see a very clear difference. I also cant get it above a 143.91 Hz refresh rate, yet the C32G2, could. Same laptop, everything. I used advice from another post and adjusted C32G2 to set low latency to on, game color to 12, brightness to 100 contrast to 60, and gamma to gamma 3. Ill keep playing with it must so far, not liking this new one.

> 3 dayFor me, its LG then everything else as it relates to quality. PC Monitors are just terrible. Im not saying that PC Monitors can barely be made out, but it just really sad that out of all the budget monitors, this is probably the best. Now Im not saying that there arent any 4k monitors are good, but really 1440p monitors w/high refresh monitors are really gaming monitors. 1440p is highly efficient with high refresh rate. To me if youre going 4K, you really need to get an LG monitor. Getting a 4K LCD really doesnt make sense. So since I dont have OLED LG money right now, Im going for the 1440p ultra wide. I make and build content for youtube on transformational gaming. So Ultra wide is what Im looking for. Sadly, this is the best 1440p wide monitor there is as far as budget. This has a high refresh rate and all the bells and whistles with gSync. But the bad news is that the color and picture are terrible. And when I say terrible I mean compared to OLED. I have the CX 65 inch in my living room. When I come back to this monitor, it just looks that much worse. I wish they can do updates to this tv like the LG. Im sure there are some calibration they can do to make it better. But wow... if you want a wide screen with high refresh rates at 1440, you have to settles for this monitor. You can go for a 2400x1440 if you play games but again I need ultra wide at 3440x1440p for content creation. So eventually Im going to get a 4K OLED monitor but right now to me its this one that has everything I need and its the only brand that has it. So its almost like a monopoly at least at this price point. Ill make a video about this product soon. Lastly, if youre moving from one place to another, my advice is to keep the box that it came with and put the monitor back in the box while moving. Anything else and youre going to end like me and have to replace it. Thats right, this thing cracks like an egg. Ill talk about this more on the channel.

Greater than one weekI purchased this in June of 2020 and it took until the beginning of August to receive it (stock issues). The monitor is spectacular and helps me play any game I want and the picture is crisp. I see no blur at all on anything I play on it. The monitor is really top of the line even if the warranty service is not that great. Why 3.5 stars - At 7 months the monitor picture went completely dead, couldnt even see the monitors display settings. Calling them at first was hard to get someone on the phone, I would call and after 15 minutes of holding it went to a machine where I never got a call back. I used their online form to contact them and finally got someone to help asking for pictures and information, I sent everything within 30 minutes. Called them back a few days later after not hearing anything and finally got someone on the phone. They explained to me that they had not received my information (although I had replied directly to the email). I sent the information again and still they didnt get it. They had to send me another email (from the same email I replied to) so I could send the information again for a third time, they finally got it. This whole situation took 6 days. From there it was was me calling to hound them over and over until I finally got an RMA 8 days later. Once I got the RMA I thought I would have my new monitor within the week, wrong. The entire thing took a total of 24 days to finally get the new monitor. This would have been much worse if I wasnt calling them every other day to keep on them. This to me is a horrible experience especially since I had to use my old monitor and go from 3440x1440 back to 1920x1080 and a smaller screen. Made gaming and work more difficult.

> 3 dayNice middle of the line monitor. It works as it should. I don’t use it 8 hours a day so it should last a while

Greater than one week(The images are a little deceiving since theres glare and the curved screen looks smaller from the angle but the left and right monitors are both 27 inch. Also laptop is a 13 inch. Excuse the clutter, was still setting up.) So far so good, day 2. Love the slanted usb ports that are on the bottom right hand side of the screen (behind screen) and the cable management is clean/easy. Picture is clear and the refresh rate is great. Upgraded from a 27 inch 2k 144hz non curved Dell and I dont think Ill go back to a non curved screen ever. Already using it for both work and gaming rig, changing inputs is a tiny bit annoying just because the buttons are more recessed than previous monitor. But overall a very easy process. The snapping of multiple windows on the screen is absolutely a game change for me, the screen size basically gives me two screens and for working/multitasking it has been fantastic. The gaming side I havent dont much yet but ran one game of rocket league and already in love with the field of view difference. Of course thats expected since Im moving up 7 or so inches in monitor size. All in all Im very happy with the purchase and I love the monitor. Just tinkered with the PIP and PBP this morning, excited to use it and can see some instances (probably non productive) where that will be handy and neat. Edit 1 3/18/21: finally got some gaming in and it is nice. Rocket league, EVE and some warhammer. Nothing too fancy but the refresh is nice, the field of view is honestly just so much to get used to but in a good way. Feels great and looks awesome. Im sure this would be pretty gnarly for fpss and other games.

> 3 dayWhen the monitor isnt getting a signal, it makes a slight buzzing sound, which is super annoying. This happens when it is turned off, or when in sleep mode. Does anyone else have this problem? Other than that, the picture quality is great. I had the prior generation also, and it didnt make any such buzzing sound I decided to return the item since the clicking/buzzing annoyed me. others dont seem to have this issue, so perhaps its unique to my unit. wont be trying with another of the same model

> 3 dayI rarely give negative reviews, but I never was able to get this monitor to work for more than a few minutes. It arrived on time and very well packaged in foam, looked like it was factory new. I was eager to use it as it comes with 2 Display Port Inputs; unusual for this type of monitor. I have 3 machines, two with Display Ports and one Hdmi. It worked right out of the box for 10 minutes using Display Ports. When I attempted to switch over to my Windows 10 Tower, Hdmi 1.4 with the OSD, it went downhill fast from there. The OSD menu is a horizontal strip along the bottom of the screen using left and right arrow to navigate and up and down to select. That in itself is not a problem except that the menu buttons are tiny and slightly recessed behind the lower front bezel edge. I struggled to use the buttons with my fat fingers and had to increase the timeout and still had some difficulty navigating the menu. I spent enough time that it should have gotten easier with familiarity, but it remained clumsy and unwieldy. I hesitate to make a big deal out of it, but Ive used dozens of monitors, some more user-friendly than others and never had this much trouble. If everything else was working it would not have been a problem as once its all set up, you probably would not need it to use the Menu except to switch inputs. Because of the problem I was having, I spent some time trying in vain to switch to HDMI when finally I couldnt get a menu screen at all. I suspect that it may be some OSD setting about DDC/CI or hardware that may be simple to fix. with 20/20 hindsight I should have used the Factory HDMI cable before returning it. but there is no good reason to be totally locked out from the OSD Menu as it never has been a problem with any other monitor, so I decided that for this reason alone I didnt want to mess with it. To have this occur right out of the box is probably rare and it did start out just fine, so theres no reason to assume that this product would not work well for a majority of users. The specs for this monitor are really good, and I suspect that if used with Display Port on a single PC, it should work out well for gaming. I never got that far as the HDMI was inconsistent, and with the on/off LED indicator lit, (i.e. the monitor is powered on), and three active inputs, when I tried to switch between the them, the menu screen would not come up at all and I was unable to use the monitor with a blank screen with no way to access the menu. Now the Display Ports are also down. Recall that it did work for a while. The picture was good and I was pleased for as long as it lasted, before I started having problems. My Hdmi cables were labeled 4k cables I bought at Best Buy so I assumed they were OK so I didnt use the cable that came with the monitor, as mine worked fine with the same setup on another 21:9 monitor. That I could not get access to the OSD menu is a sure indication that the monitor is not recognizing the HDMI input. No input signal, no OSD. No OSD no way to switch input back to a working display port, Catch 22! I believe this to be a design flaw in the menu system that could be averted by having a little red reset button providing a means of mechanically resetting the system to a workable default state. A real manual with enough information to avoid trouble would be nice. I tried all the usual steps to breath some life into it, Power cycle, check cables with another monitor etc. Power PCs off/on. Nothing to be done. Dead in the water. Bad cable? Maybe something to do with DDC/CI but at this stage you absolutely must be able to use the menu, again, Catch 22! Ive used a lot of devices that got poor ratings from others, where they were 5 stars for me. Certainly not all the same products will be unusable. This is the first time in twenty years of online purchases that Ive had a fatal failure, so I consider myself fortunate and am not upset. Because I had a problem does not mean its inevitable that others will have the same experience; so I rated it with three stars instead of one. Walter O.

> 3 dayAOC CU34G2X 34 (just 2 days of use, and Im writing this review only for colors and the color and performance of this monitor so far.) The colors of the monitor are great after some adjusting, download the software of the AOC website, dont bother with the buttons on the display, they are like tires on a chopper lol. The customization diversity of this panel just makes me emotional, only if u knew how much time I spent on my previous monitors for color adjustments. It comes factory calibrated, with a bit brightness and contrasts adjustments, it definitely looks much better than my 27inch IPS HD(400) monitor ever did. After trying IPS, TN, and VA panels, I can say that I definitely prefer a Va panel for gaming and movies. This monitor also gives color profile options for reading and other types of tasks. Ive read and researched a ton about panel types, functions, and anything that distinguishes one monitor from another. Almost everyone has said that if you care about colors pick IPS, and TN if you care about performance, and VA is just something in between. I can say that because of their internal structure, It seems to me VA panels look much more vivid, easy to see and distinguish what is happening in a video or game much better than other types. I think if you are like me, who wants colors to pop up, the details in a small picture to be as colorful and vivid as when they are in full picture mode, you should try a good VA panel. And This panel so far didnt disappoint, I tried a week, and couldnt get a picture on a 1440 IPS panel to pop as in this 1440p VA panel. I played with settings of this monitor for about 20 minutes and it looks better than the 1440p IPS panel ever did. There are lots of settings to adjust colors, brightness, picture mode, and contrast. Not even some very expensive panels dont allow you to adjust as much as this monitor lets you. The game performance is pretty good, the colors are good, Ive no complaints so far. I definitely recommend this monitor to everyone. Update: I was really happy with this monitor until I started to play some fast first-person shooter games. Unfortunately like most VA panels, this panel also has smearing during fast movements. Im not sure how that is possible on a 1ms monitor, but it is quite bad if you would like to have responsive gameplay.

> 3 dayI like this monitor, the ultra-wide screen helps with competitive shooters. The pixels get a little weird when watching videos on streaming services (like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, HBO Max), it mainly happens with dark pixels, i.e any place in the video/movie that is in the dark or has a lot of dark colors, Its really annoying to look at. If youre just gaming then this wont be a problem, as I havent had this happen with dark pixels in games, only on streaming services.
