> 3 dayNeeded this as an external monitor for my MacBook Pro and it works very well. Colors are great and no light bleeding on the edges with is even better. I haven’t had any lag issues either. As of right now, I’d give this monitor 5 stars and will update if anything changes. If you’re looking for an external monitor for your Mac this one is excellent. I looked at a ton before making the decision to purchase this one. Glad I spent just a little bit more to ensure there weren’t any issues.

Greater than one weekI was very lucky and was able to snag a AOC CU34G2X for $450.00 here on Amazon brand new (using a Radeon VII). I mostly play MMOs now so I am not a FPS/Shooter type player (been there, done that back in the 90s for FPS/Shooters) . I am not using the stand it came with since I already have a VESA triple mount stand (Ergotech triple stand). The VESA mounts I have that came with the Ergotech stand fits in perfectly on the back of the Ultrawide monitor for I just had to undo the 4 screws that are in the back of the monitor, put the VESA plate on and put the screws back in then just hang the monitor on my stand. I really did not have to fiddle with the colors/contrast for it is really great as is when you turn the power on and boot up the system (plugged into a Radeon VII) but I will say the controls for the monitor are a little odd yet the odds are one will not be fiddling with them for long so once you have your settings you will not be using the controls for quite a while. As for light bleed I might have been lucky since it is very nil and for the flickering I have read it was doing that slightly the first day but I have done a few things and updated the Radeon software to 20.4.2 and no flickering at all. I must say it is a little bright so if one wants too you can turn the brightness down but for me I have adjusted quickly to it as is. I have read some people harp on the bezel but for me I really do not mind the bezel around this monitor. It is not thick in my book (I mean it is not even a $500.00) so I really have nothing bad to say about the bezel. It does not have any built in speakers which I can go either way for I usually use my headphones BUT I do plan on buying some external speakers in the near future anyway. It did not come with a manual, but then again a quick look online one can find it yet it should not be a big thing to include one with the monitor since it is only 28 pages. All in all I really got my bang for the buck with this monitor and I think if you are just venturing into the ultrawide world then this is a great monitor to start with.

27-10-2024Bought this one for video editing, had performed ROCK SOLID for more than a year, I use this for the timeline and all settings while keeping a full 4K monitor for the program or output. I would loved to have a full HDR IPS but is really good for the price.

> 3 dayIf you’re anything like me, you too have been unable to convince your partner that it’s absolutely necessary to have a $500+ monitor. Let’s be real, unless you’ve dropped $2k+ into your computer build, you don’t need a better monitor than this. If you’re a console gamer you probably should buy a tv if you’re worried about not having 4K. 32” is huge when you finally get it set up, not sure that I would go bigger. I actually find myself moving away from the screen at times to get a better view angle. If you’re upset that it doesn’t have built in speakers, it’s time to accept that no one else wants to listen to you game anyways. Put on a pair of headphones and move on with your life. Pros: #1: Cost vs Quality (really huge in all aspects) #2: wow factor refresh rate Cons: #1: puts out a lot of heat #2: the control buttons suck As the title said, don’t get lost in the specs and buy this monitor. Pro tip: go watch some YouTube videos if you are having issues with ghosting.

> 3 dayI am an average user that has only had basic monitors, but since I built this PC primarily for gaming/part-time productivity and spent so much on its components I had no choice but to purchase a monitor to match. This was it, and the colors look amazing when compared to a 4yr old Dell that I have dual mounted. I followed a couple different tutorials on how to set this specific monitor up for G-Sync but it does flicker a lot. With G-Sync enabled, the screen would also periodically go black for a few seconds so I had to turn it off. However, I paired it with a 9900K/2080Ti, maxing out frames in almost all games, and I do not experience any screen tearing or notice any type of draw back that makes me regret not buying an officially supported G-Sync monitor. For the negative side of things, I only had the monitor for two months before it went dead and would not turn on. Just a black screen. I filled out a RMA form and was issued a refurbished monitor in its place, but it took a long time before I received the replacement monitor. From the time I submitted the RMA form to receiving the replacement, almost five weeks had passed. Thankfully I had an old Dell to get me through. The first contact from them only took about 48hrs like their RMA submission form stated, but it took 2 weeks without any form of communication from them and a complaint to Amazon Customer Service before they contacted me to proceed with the RMA. The RMA submission process was very third-rate, in that I felt like I was speaking to someone that was enjoying their meal at a restaurant, and with very little info (and no troubleshooting) was very quick to say that the monitor needed to be returned. The entire time spent on the phone with support was less than two minutes before they determined it was a bad monitor. I gave four stars because the monitor is really great at a $450 price point, but left off one star because of the lack of communication and lengthy RMA process. So if youre in the market for a new monitor or wanting to purchase your first gaming monitor on a medium budget....this is a really great monitor for that. I honestly would buy again even though the first time around was not perfect.

> 3 dayNice middle of the line monitor. It works as it should. I don’t use it 8 hours a day so it should last a while

> 3 dayOnly had for a few months. Back light already bleeding through the top left and right halves. I always shut down my monitor after using. I might put an average of 3hrs a day on it if that. Monitor has had ghosting since day 1. Tried about every setting I could to get rid of it. Disappointed.
