> 3 dayThe price is attractive, but the actual image quality is poor and the 1000R curve radius is too tight. It does work fine for gaming and web browsing, but if youre looking for pro-grade color representation (or even just hobbyist-grade) you need to look elsewhere. I dont see any dead/stuck pixels. It seems okay at the white/black extremes, but in grays the blotchy-ness is obvious (see photo). The 1000R curve is so tight that the perspective distortion on the outer edges is distracting rather than immersive. I have an ultrawide 1500R monitor, and I think that 1500 might be the perfect radius at this size, not 1000. For reference, I sit 26 inches away from the screen. This review is for the AOC CU34G3S 34 Frameless Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor, WQHD 3440 x1440, 165Hz.

> 3 dayBought this one for video editing, had performed ROCK SOLID for more than a year, I use this for the timeline and all settings while keeping a full 4K monitor for the program or output. I would loved to have a full HDR IPS but is really good for the price.

Greater than one weekThe performance leaves little to be desired. First one I purchased was damaged in shipping I presume so I ama little concerned as to how well it will hold up over time. So far, this one has been everything I hoped it would be.

> 3 dayDont know how or why, but the AOC CU34G2X was advertised at much less than the comparable LG ultrawide only to find out when I checked again the price had basically tripled. So if you can get this at the original price this is a bargain. The monitor build quality is great and isnt over the top like others with RGB and elaborate cases. The only gripe I really have is the fact that the menus are driven with the old fashioned side by side button arrangement rather than utilizing a small joystick which would make adjustments much easier. However there is a simple remedy to this and that is to download AOCs g-menu utility from their EU site. Once installed all the monitor tweaks and customizations can be accomplished with the utility. You obviously need to have the monitor plugged into your PC via the provided USB cable, but thats it. The monitor comes with a really good stand which is spring loaded to go up and down, turn left and right and tilt forward or back. You cannot rotate the screen. It also comes supplied with a display port cable, HDMI 2.1 compliant cable and the previously mentioned USB cable. The back panel offers several USB 3.0 ports as a hub. Now talking about picture quality and refresh rates, ghosting, etc. is very subjective and I dont have professional tools to really give a data driven review here. I can tell that the very edges have a very small amount of diminished brightness, which is most abundantly noticeable with white background. I have yet to play any games with freesync turned on as I am still building up my Ryzen 9 3900X with 5700 XT card, but the couple of games I played (Control and Assassins Creed) the monitor has met my expectations. There are several customization settings available to fine tune the monitor to RTS, FPS and racing style games and each of them can further be optimized. All in all this is a great monitor and I cant wait to see when this is first reviewed by one of the big outfits on YT.

> 3 dayI was looking for a really good, yet budget-friendly monitor for my first PC setup and stumbled upon this absolute masterpiece of a monitor. For $230, I got a 32 165hz 1ms monitor, which is already a steal, but on top of that, this monitor, in particular, is adjustable, which comes in very handy, and is overall amazing. The red trim may be concerning to some people, but I have a strictly black-and-white setup and it works fine. Ive seen people paint it, but honestly, I can barely even tell. The red is on the bottom and some of the back, which is against the wall. I dont think it really matters what it looks like from the back-bottom angle, plus if you have LED lights in your setup or in your PC, it makes no difference. Also, when I set this up, the default setting was 60hz, so you have to manually change it in settings to 165hz.

> 3 dayI dont know much about monitors, never really cared about it lookin fancy but my boys were teasin me about playing on an old tv so I bough this. They seemed impressed and theyre those picky gamer types so its probably real good. Whatever, that aint the reason Im writing this review. After about 6 months one of the guys tossed me somethin, it went right into the monitor, CRACK, screen was done. I was googlin to see if this was in my wheelhouse to fix and I found out that THEY WILL REPLACE IT FOR A YEAR EVEN IF ITS YOUR FAULT. So I tried calling em, not expectin much. YO THEY AINT LYIN. They had me mail it in and sent me a replacement right away. Using it right now. No run around, no bs, just like YOU GOOD, SEND IT IN. MAN. An actually good company that makes a good thing and stands by their guarantees. Im sold. AOC for life.

> 3 dayNeeded this as an external monitor for my MacBook Pro and it works very well. Colors are great and no light bleeding on the edges with is even better. I haven’t had any lag issues either. As of right now, I’d give this monitor 5 stars and will update if anything changes. If you’re looking for an external monitor for your Mac this one is excellent. I looked at a ton before making the decision to purchase this one. Glad I spent just a little bit more to ensure there weren’t any issues.
