> 3 dayAmazing bezels. Almost nonexistent. The frames and the color of the moniter is beautiful and vivid right at open. The menu is super easy to use. I bought the 24inch 165hz 1080p about 3 years ago and worked flawlessly until I upgraded. I got the 32 inch 165hz QHD moniter but it was just a tad bit too big so I went with the Samsung G5 1440p 165hz moniter but I miss my AOC like crazy

Greater than one weekI purchased 3 of these monitors to use for sim racing. After setting them up in surround mode and running a racing simulator they perform very well. They are also a good looking monitor. However....the title stating they are frameless is HIGHLY inaccurate. There is a noticable black edge that runs around the screen where there is no picture. Yes the bezel is very thin, hence why I purchased 3 of them. However a quarter inch area of screen along the edges that displays no picture is pointless! I have messed with all my settings and even hooked up just one single monitor and yet the picture does not go right to the bezel like advertised. I also cant get above 45 FPS on them. Not my system because I was getting 160fps on a big screen tv. Probably going to return them for something different.

> 3 dayI felt compelled to leave a review that primarily speaks to my experience w/ the warranty after seeing some other reviews. Monitor is great. This was my first 34 ultrawide. I originally purchased in March of 2021 to complement a new pre-built I purchased due to lack of GPU inventory to build myself. Fast forward, 6-months later and the monitor fell face forward on my desk and caught the mouse in the wrong spot. Oddly enough, this cracked the screen in the upper right hand side thus damaging the panel and rendering a 6-inch space in the shape of a rectangle from the edge inward blank. The rest of the monitor worked, but seeing this happen almost brought me to tears given the expense and short lifespan. This happened on a Sunday. I contacted AOC via email that night, but decided to call in the next day in the evening. I connected w/ a rep and he helped get me started. The rep sounded French and it kind of reminded me of a scene from the IT crowd where one of the characters calls into a call center and has difficulty understanding the agents. Regardless, he was very helpful and able to get the process started for me. Once started, as a customer I had 2 choices to proceed w/ the replacement (one of which the agent alluded to taking a bit longer than the other, though not specific to which one). I could either opt to ship the monitor myself and a replacement would be sent upon receipt OR provide my CC for them to ship one out ASAP, which I could then use the box to ship the damaged monitor back. I opted for the path of least resistance, which to me was providing my CC info for them to ship me a monitor ASAP. The process was initiated on a Monday evening. I received a follow-up from the warranty processing company on Wednesday letting me know it had been approved and giving me the choices on how to proceed. I promptly submitted the info. I received a notification the order had been placed and Id get a shipping notification upon the replacement monitor being shipped. About one week passed and I hadnt heard anything. I checked the RMA website that same day (following Thursday after RMA had been approved) and saw nothing, but finally got an email notification that the monitor had shipped. When i checked the tracking, it was set to arrive the following day. It arrived that next day as expected and Im typing this from the same computer/monitor setup. The whole process from initiation to receipt of the monitor took just under 2 weeks (about 10 business days). I was really impressed with the AOC warranty and the speed and relative ease at which I was able to adhere to their process and get a replacement. This was a first for me, as I typically dont like to rely on warranties. I learned 2 lessons from this: 1. A warranty like the 1 year AOC warranty makes ALL the difference in the world when you need it AND is something I will be on the lookout for in other monitor purchases. 2. Maybe I should think twice about purchasing an extended warranty for an expensive monitor. THANK YOU AOC

Greater than one weekThis is a fantastic looking monitor. Colors are great. Viewing angles are great. The only caveat I have with this is that the aspect ratio is 21 x 9. Meaning whenever I try to record gameplay in OBS and down scale it to 19 20 x 10 80 it vertically squishes everything. So beware this is not a WQHD display.

> 3 dayIve been using the monitor for a couple of months now. So far, everything is working fine. But I use it for work and not gaming. Not sure whether that makes any difference or not. My only pet peeve is that the monitor does not support split screen where one can view images from both HDMI inputs. Another one is that it is not easy to switch inputs. Especially since you cannot see the buttons on account of them being under the bezel. And while there are marks at the bottom of the bezel to denote the different buttons, they are not easy to see as theyre engraved without any color difference. So its basically black on black. But overall, its a nice monitor. Its pretty bright and provides good image contrast.

> 3 dayNice middle of the line monitor. It works as it should. I don’t use it 8 hours a day so it should last a while

> 3 dayBought this one for video editing, had performed ROCK SOLID for more than a year, I use this for the timeline and all settings while keeping a full 4K monitor for the program or output. I would loved to have a full HDR IPS but is really good for the price.

> 3 dayThe monitor was well packed and arrived with zero issues. This is the 7th different ultra wide monitor I have purchased and I can say its one of the best so far. In my quest to find the best Ultra wide for the money this is my #1 choice for gaming and #3 for work. Cons: The base is huge and will take up a lot of desk space. Better to use a monitor mount if possible. Of all the monitors I have used this one is 2nd to last. Only better than the Samsung G5 34 inch because nothing on the market is worse. My only other con may not be for others. This monitor is part of the Argon series and yet the back of the monitor is generic. No LEDs like on the 32 inch. Pros: This is the best Hassel free 1000R curve I have used. Its also the best priced. The color immersion in games are really good. Here is a list of Ultra wide monitors I have tested and used in my personal order of likes. I use my Ultra wide in conjunction with a 2560x1440 32 inch and I put them both on a single mount. I so moderate gaming and work in Radiology. 1. Dell 34 inch Ultra wide (best base, best colors, best price at under $400, 1500R curve so best if doing both gaming and office work) 2. AOC Argon 34 inch Ultra wide (best for gamibg with the 1000R curve, wish it had the brightness of the Dell and Alienware, great price at $400) 3. Alienware 34 inch UW IPS panel (second best base, best overall color, but way to expensive at $720) 4. Gigabyte 34 inch UW IPS panel (best IPS panel for the money) 5. Samsung G5 34 inch UW (the worst base, also the worst firmware off any monitor. If you set to run as 1.4 DP depending on your video card youre probably going to get screen flicker. Doesnt matter if youre using AMD or Nvidia if you set this morning to turn off or go black screen to avoid burn-in good luck getting it to wake back up. Probably the best gaming monitor I have ever tested and its not even close but with the pathetic base and firmware its not worth the headache) 6. Gigabyte 34 inch UW VA panel (A good low cost UW if you can get it for under $330) 7. Scepter 43 inch Ultra wide (avoid like the plague, zero curve makes this monitor difficult to view on a desk)

> 3 dayIve owned this monitor for less than a year and its already got a significant noticeable band with a blue hue. Of the dozen or so monitors Ive owned over my lifetime, this is a first. Whats the warranty process, or how does one fix this?

Greater than one weekThe specs on the monitor are mediocre with it not being able to reliably hit 144hz with it being more in line with 120hz, the colours are fine but the screen doesnt get very bright at around 250 nits brightness. Youre mostly buying this for 1440p resolution and ultrawide experience at a very cheap price, which it serves extremely well. I actually had the first panel come in defective with the monitor only briefly popping on then being completely dark. Costumer support was super friendly and got me a replacement quickly.
