> 3 dayI bought two of these to put one on each side of my pontoon boat. We stuck them to the upper portion of the pontoon and then covered in clear silicon to help waterproof and bond them to the pontoon. So far, they are working great. Do keep in mind though that even though they are LEDs, they pull 60w at 5 amps according to their specs. I had to put mine on their own circuit which worked out well.

Greater than one weekThese LEDs are great and just what I wanted. I installed 5 rolls under my 40 5th Wheel for some under-glow lighting and they look awesome. The adhesive seems to be holding up really well, I installed these in April and have pulled the camper about 500 miles since then without issue. Cleaned the frame with brake cleaner before installing. Having wires at both ends is great for short runs where you need two pieces. I will let the pics speak for the product.

> 3 dayI had no problem installing these lights, the double sided tape adhered well. The only thing I would suggest is to place a small amount of clear silicone on each connection to guarantee placement.

Greater than one weekI installed these lights in 4 foot sections to clean, new aluminum. Just to be sure it was clean, I cleaned it again with rubbing alcohol. As I was installing the fourth strip, the first strip was already starting to fall off!!! It didn’t even last 15 minutes! By the next day, without even turning the lights on, all the strips had at least half of the strip detached. Three had completely fallen off. (I had also purchased a different brand of light with 3M adhesive strips, there was no adhesive problem with those lights.) I’m satisfied with these lights, but I’ll have to remove the adhesive strip and replace them with something that will actually stick! If I hadn’t already done all the setup and soldering, I would just throw them out and start over with a better brand! Update: I peeled the adhesive backing - it came off quite easily. I replaced it with “3M (38583 1/4 x 15 Exterior Attachment Tape” 1/4 inch width (from Amazon). It’s been up for a week with no signs of loosening at all. It took just over one package to do the whole string. Of course this adds about $10 to the cost of the lights, but at least they’re usable now! So, since I have plans to purchase additional strings, now I’m much more cautious about what type of adhesive is used. I will not rely on the “it’s strong” description, I’ll check the pictures looking for the red adhesive strip marked with “3M”. While I’m sure there’s probably other brands that work, I’m not going to waste my time and money to run the experiment. (I’m not receiving anything from 3M lol, I’m just happy I found something reliable!)

Greater than one weekI like that you can trim or combine two or more strips together.

> 3 dayTotal garbage. Cheap Chinese junk. Seller states that they use high quality double sided tape. The tape is junk, doesnt have the 3M logo and the lights fell off. Returned for a refund. Tape on this product is not 3M VBH tape. The seller should be required to remove this statement from the items description! 【3M VHB Foam Back Tape】 Based on buyers’ feedback on adhesive issue, we upgraded the tape to 3M VHB heavy duty foam mounting tape. It is much more sticky and durable than blue or white tapes which is widely used by other brands. Never fall off. ( Heating the tape with heat gun or hair dryer will make it more sticky.)
