> 3 dayThe other blue LEDs on white tape are less expensive, but the black tape is more elegant if you are going to see it. The LEDs look like a cluster of dots, so it may be less bright. The thicker mounting tape may stick better - as they claim. But I have not tested that, nor the amount of light

> 3 dayI have only had them on our pontoon boat for a few days, the adheasion seems good. Only time will tell. My boat has a powered accossory switch already on the console so that made the install easier. The brightness is good they have a 5050 led brightness. I also bought the 22AWG red / black wire that worked well. I recomend soldering all connections if used on a boat and using a coragated split conduit. Two strips wired together draws 12 AMPs I had to put in a 15 AMP breaker. The whole project cost about $40 A week later and got to see them in the dark on the water very bright and look great. It’s been a month now , with lake time all good

> 3 dayPros: Easy to cut and reattach with separately sold LED strip connectors and wire. Bright lights. Dont get too warm with the proper power adapters. Cons: Adhesive is pretty bad. I have had to use 3Ms double sided tape to hold them up in most areas and that still required quite a bit of that. Overall they get the job done at a cheap price point. If you want to make them Alexa enabled, just get an outlet or powerstrip that is compatible with Alexa.

> 3 dayThis is a good product but I had to return it. Make sure you separate the 3m paper from the glue since it is easy to pull the glue right off the light if you are not careful. this messed up my install.

> 3 dayOne month later and still going I used a foot of this to replace my burnt out third brake light in my spoiler (Some kind of aftermarket spoiler that the previous owner put on and I could not find the part online) It definitely gets wet and takes the heat of the Texas sun. Edit: 1.5 years later still working great

> 3 dayIt only worked for six months before it started having segments fail. Now about only half of the led strip works.
