> 3 dayThis monitor makes games look absolutely stunning. Going from 1080p gsync to 1440p gsync makes the games look so much better. Everything is sharper without having to crank the terrible anti-alliasing in games settings. I will not be going back to 1080p after experiencing this monitor. I also will not be going back to TN monitors, as I can safely say that an IPS monitor (like this one) are much nicer. My only complaints are the brightness (which I rate 2 stars out of 5), and the occasional flickering. It took me about an hour of testing across multiple games just to find the perfect brightness because I had to adjust the gamma, contrast, and colors just to make it bright enough and still look sharp. The issue that then arose was the flickering back to lower brightness settings. Occasionally the monitor will change back to the original brightness settings that it came with and theres not much I can really do except turn it off and on again to fix it. Sometimes it will just keep flickering between the two modes. Ive found this usually happens after prolonged use, so Ive made sure to turn off the monitor even if my computer is still on. Issues aside, I got this monitor on sale for $300 and its well worth the money.

> 3 dayThis monitor is great! As someone who plays FPS games like Valorant, CSGO, and etc the monitor is excellent. This colors are little off but you change that with Nvidia Control Panel. I upgraded from a 1080p 165hz display and this new monitor feels night and day. Its so much more responsive, crisp, and smooth while in games. I dont know what to say its just that good. Ive had no issues with this monitor.

> 3 dayIf your going through reviews trying to decide whether to buy or not to buy. BUY IT! For the price this can not be beat. Not the strongest build quality but aside from that this is excellent value and perfect for office/gaming usage. Plus, this does not cause me any eye strain what so ever which is a huge bonus for me! Seriously, stop reading the negative reviews and buy this monitor. I spent so much time reading reviews, rtings, and reddit just to find a damn monitor that wouldnt cause eye issues and Im glad I went with this one because it is one of the few monitors Ive ever owned that causes zero eye strain. Beautiful picture and refresh rate as well.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent LCD HDR monitor. I have never used HDR but have previously used 144hz 2k monitors (Acer XG270HU for reference). My other Acer 2k monitor uses a TN panel, which has poor viewing angles and color reproduction, but this one produces excellent colors after I changed the color bit depth to 10bpc and configured the monitor colors. I only have a couple of games which support HDR but one I tried (Red Dead Redemption 2) looks amazing, though it was somewhat difficult to get working correctly. Pros: VESA compatible Extremely bright Excellent Wide Color Gamut reproduction Height Adjustable (I remember reading a couple of reviews saying it had no height adjustment, but it does) 144Hz QHD 27 is the perfect combination of resolution, refresh rate, and pixel size Cons: Was a little difficult to set up HDR in windows and be sure everything was working correctly.

> 3 dayAfter using it for more than a year, I recommend this screen to players who want competitive games and story games because it combines these two parts because this screen has very beautiful colors and makes your experience in story games beautiful. As for those who want it in competitive games, it also has good technologies such as (HDR 400- color accuracy 98% ) To help you in competitive games, but there is something not good about it. If you enable this technology (VRB (Extreme)) there will be ghosting in colors from the reality of an experience that is only bad in this thing other than that it’s really good for the price that I bought it for.

> 3 dayPros: Great value and build quality. Easily adjustable stand height and angle. Very high refresh rate. Included cables are good quality. Cons: Matte screen is meant to diffuse glare, but it instead it seems to add a low amount of uniform glare from any angle. (I would rather just change my monitor angle and have a glossy screen with deeper blacks.) 2K resolution is ok but 4K would be noticeably better. LED, not OLED. For the price, this is a solid monitor. 4.5 stars If you want a 5 star monitor, spend another $500+

30-10-2024Ive had this monitor a little over a month now and I like it, but in some ways it can be annoying. Unboxing and setting up the monitor was a breeze. The only problems I seem to have are firmware related which I believe could be fixed with a firmware update. This monitor at times has issues detecting the input of my PC. This leads me to either unplugging the monitor or the Displayport cable and plugging it back in, which can be annoying as it occurs more often than usual. The screen has gone dark once or twice during gameplay, and the instruction manual that comes with this thing is bare bones and will leave you trying to figure settings and features out. The 1ms VRB setting can only be used if you have your refresh/ frame rate locked at 120hz/fps on your pc or if you play a ps5 game that can run 120hz. This is information the manual should explain. I find HDR 400 to be gimmicky and I rather turn it off. If you can find how to calibrate the picture to your liking its actually a pretty decent monitor. HDMI 2.0 can accept a 4k signal from ps5, which I believe downscales to 1440p rather than being native 4k, but only at 60fps. I like the build in aim feature as it gives you precise crosshairs on the screen, I find this useful for high fps games like apex legends. Ive noticed after a month slight led bleed in the left bottom corner of screen which is more noticeable dure night game sessions, but is tolerable as you only notice it when the screen goes dark. Other than a few cons this monitor can handle the performance of a high end pc, and it actually looks really good and is as smooth as butter during gameplay. Like I said I believe the issues I do have with this thing can be fixed via firmware update. I hope this review helps and Acer gives this boarderlining amazing monitor the support it needs!

> 3 dayMinimal light bleed on the edges which I cant say for an Asus comparative model I recently used. Overall very happy with acer on this one
