> 24 hourFirst time with an ACER product! I have had a number 1080p monitors. This is my first 1440p monitor, at 76 years of age and a gamer, builder of pcs...I can see the difference between 1080p and 1440pat 144 Hz. At my age YEAH! I run most everything at native too hard for me to go fiddling with this and that, yes, I am a BOOMER , and I like it! So far great monitor from ACER!

> 24 hourFor reference, the last time I paid $350 for a monitor I got a 60hz 1080p VA panel. With the fact that I was looking for 1440p 120hz IPS, I was expecting to pay $500 minimum, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this monitor. Then on top of what I was looking for I got freesync and hdr400. Ive had it for about a month now and I absolutely love it. The colors are kind of weird on some of the preset profiles but I was easily able to get it set up to where I think it looks good. The 27 size seems perfect, and the resolution increase from 1080p is very nice. Personally I dont think the hdr400 is really that great but its nice to have. Having the higher refresh rate has also been great in reducing the screen tearing I was experiencing on my old 60hz monitor. The fact that it comes with some somewhat decent speakers was surprising as well. I expected some very quiet crappy speakers, but they get pretty loud and are much better than what Id expected from a gaming monitor. From what Ive seen you really just cannot beat the features of this monitor at this price, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a solid affordable monitor.

> 24 hourMonitor itself is good. However, either the dp cable that comes with it is terrible or is broken. I can easily get it out of my gpu, but I can’t get it out on the monitor side with pushing the button.

> 24 hourWe just got a computer that needed a HDMI monitor, which we didnt have. My youngest son (13) has been telling me that he wants to build a computer, but has not happened yet. We got the computer for school, and a bit of gaming. This monitor is really big, 27 inches. Larger than the TV I have in my bedroom. It has lots of connections on the back of it, for different inputs and outputs. The stand allows you to raise and lower the monitor and turn it with very little effort. My son tells me it has a 140 refresh rate, which was important to him. I know that it was easy to hook up, is bright, crisp and looks like it is built to last.

> 24 hourI purchased this during prime day specifically for console gaming, and it will be tough to beat the price for a quality budget monitor from a company Ive actually heard of before. Since Xbox is very particular about what monitors it allows you to play 1440p at 120hz in, this one did it out of the box, no problems whatsoever. I was initially a little hesitant because acer has 37 similar models and I couldnt find a long technical review specifically for this one, but it seems to be a really solid monitor for the price.

> 24 hourPurchased this after several agonizing hours reading monitor reviews on multiple websites. Were using this as an external monitor for a Windows laptop and a Chromebook, mostly for office work and some casual graphic design. Couldnt be happier with it! The picture looks great, and its usable even in bright ambient conditions. The ergonomics (especially height adjustment) are very welcome. The lack of USB ports could be viewed as disappointing, however, Acer does make a companion model of nearly the same monitor, but with USB ports, so if those are important to you, the option to add them is available (at a higher price, of course). Were not using this in an environment where were extremely sensitive to color accuracy or latency, so were not rendering any judgment on those aspects. But as an affordable 27 monitor with decent performance and good ergonomics, this monitor was a winner for us.

> 24 hourthis is a great monitor good colors and such but it needs some tweaking to be perfect i almost returned it until i started doing some digging in windows settings, and it turns out you need to go into nvidia control panel or the amd equivalent and adjust your brightness AND digital vibrancy a little bit. that on its own isnt a big deal but you also need to google how to change your monitor ICC profile in windows thats what changed the biggest thing to me. all in all good monitor for the price but if you arent willing to change some settings and want it right out of the box get something different. until i got into the settings in windows the monitor was noticeably/distractingly dim but after changing some things its perfect now!
