> 3 dayThe title says it all. I bought 2 of them and dont have a problem at all. It has been a few months already and display has been working very well. No dead pixels at all and the quality of the monitors are so good. Definity worth the money and replacement. I use the Display Port option and the quality is amazing. Acer brand is a great company that makes the best monitors.

> 3 dayI got this monitor a few days ago and havent noticed any issues with pixels after doing screen tests. I just upgraded from a 2016 Asus 1080p monitor to this and what a difference. This new screen is a few inches bigger and there just is so much screen compared to what I came from! Less frame and more screen. Very happy with my purchase so far. Havent noticed any color issues either, right out of the box it seems pretty balanced to me, coming from my old monitor that came with very washed out colors as default.

> 3 dayIve had this monitor a little over a month now and I like it, but in some ways it can be annoying. Unboxing and setting up the monitor was a breeze. The only problems I seem to have are firmware related which I believe could be fixed with a firmware update. This monitor at times has issues detecting the input of my PC. This leads me to either unplugging the monitor or the Displayport cable and plugging it back in, which can be annoying as it occurs more often than usual. The screen has gone dark once or twice during gameplay, and the instruction manual that comes with this thing is bare bones and will leave you trying to figure settings and features out. The 1ms VRB setting can only be used if you have your refresh/ frame rate locked at 120hz/fps on your pc or if you play a ps5 game that can run 120hz. This is information the manual should explain. I find HDR 400 to be gimmicky and I rather turn it off. If you can find how to calibrate the picture to your liking its actually a pretty decent monitor. HDMI 2.0 can accept a 4k signal from ps5, which I believe downscales to 1440p rather than being native 4k, but only at 60fps. I like the build in aim feature as it gives you precise crosshairs on the screen, I find this useful for high fps games like apex legends. Ive noticed after a month slight led bleed in the left bottom corner of screen which is more noticeable dure night game sessions, but is tolerable as you only notice it when the screen goes dark. Other than a few cons this monitor can handle the performance of a high end pc, and it actually looks really good and is as smooth as butter during gameplay. Like I said I believe the issues I do have with this thing can be fixed via firmware update. I hope this review helps and Acer gives this boarderlining amazing monitor the support it needs!

> 3 dayI just opened this for the first time and set it up, and there’s already a dead pixel. Such a shame because i was so excited and this killed my mood. I’ll probably update this review in the future to give a better review. For now, 3 stars for pixel.

> 3 dayI purchased the 27 QHD version of this monitor two months ago and so far it has been great. Coming from a 60hz, 1080p monitor this thing is buttery smooth during gaming and QHD resolution is a huge step up from FHD. The menu took a little getting use to as far as navigation since my old monitor didnt have a joystick, but its fairly easy and the connectivity is great. The 4-port USB 3 hub is also incredibly convenient for plugging in mic, webcam, external storage drives or whatever else you may need quick access to. A lot of reviewers complained about how dim it was and the IPS glow, but neither has been a problem for me. I have brightness at 100% and while the display isnt going to blind you, it is perfect for my viewing. Also there is some IPS glow around the edges but only noticeable in the dark when the screen in black, which is not a problem as I dont use my computer in the dark. I liked this monitor so much I got one for my brother for his birthday and he thinks its great too. As feature rich as this monitor is, its a steal if you can get it for $300 or less.

28-10-2024To start off, I am more than satisfied with this monitor, especially being at only $300 (or $255 at the time I purchased it on prime day). It arrived the next day and in full working order. It was easy to set up and dialing down the settings is very simple. This is my first monitor, so I am not able to really compare it to other monitors. Im too used to 4k gaming to go back to 1080p, but I wanted higher framerates as well, so I concluded that 1440p was a good balance for me. Only considering this monitor, there were no dead pixels, and there is a bit of backlight bleed, but thats to be expected with IPS panels. The 144 Hz is silky smooth, though there is a bit of ghosting, but I cant really notice unless Im testing for it. The HDR works well, but not as well as my Vizio V-series 4k HDR TV. Its still better than SDR. However, I will always choose the higher framerate over slightly better HDR. Also, enabling HDR limits framerate to 120, but thats also just barely noticeable. I havent tested for input lag, but I can assure you its very low, even with HDR on. I notice very little difference in the response time with HDR on vs off. The monitor has an ultra low latency mode that sets it to 1ms. One thing that I wish this monitor had was more image settings with HDR enabled. When I turn on HDR, I cant customize the contrast or brightness or color any further to fit my preferred settings. Again, the HDR 400 works well, but I wish it was a bit better. Another strange problem I had was enabling the HDR in some games. More specifically, Fallen Order and Shadow of War. For some reason, the HDR just looks bad for both of these games. Ive adjusted picture settings in game and on my pc as best as I can and it still looks like SDR. I know it isnt the PC or the games because both of these games looked beautiful on the 4k TV I have, but not on this monitor. That being said, other games look fantastic with HDR. Destiny 2, Metro: Exodus, and others look just as amazing as they did on the TV. I dont know why this problem is happening, but its something to consider when looking at this monitor. The HDR on this monitor is hit or miss with some games. If you arent a super competitive gamer who needs the lowest possible response time, or youre on a budget, or both, this monitor will work well for you. Despite my issues with the HDR, I still think this monitor is a great deal for 1440p gaming. Of course you could surely get a better monitor for $400-500, but this is a good balance for a lightly competitive gamer on a budget. So I give it 4 stars for overall quality, but 5 stars considering its price.

> 3 dayThe image and build quality are quite nice on this monitor, but I noticed initially the brightness was very low, even at 100%. For whatever reason, after a few days the monitor seemed to warm up and the brightness came to an acceptable level. From about a week onward the monitor has been plenty bright even at 60%. If you notice the brightness is not very high, try giving it a few days to see if it improves.

> 3 dayFirst off: In this price range, this is the best monitor that checks off the most boxes in my opinion. -Gorgeous, color accurate display that covers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut -Buttery smooth 144hz -Quite good contrast, despite being an IPS panel -FOUR USB 3.0 ports?! Insane -Gsync compatible, even with HDR despite what is said -HDR that I think looks pretty solid for the level -Great viewing angles -Minimal if any backlight bleed -Very adjustable stand & Vesa Mountable I did tons of research before choosing a monitor. I thought about getting the LG Ultragear for $80 more. However, it has worse contrast, no wider color gamut, and no USB ports. It really felt like I would be getting a lot less while paying more. Many others had similar but lesser specs, or cost way more. This is the perfect sweet spot and is a banger of a deal. That being said, Acer QC could use a bit of work. This is my third monitor. My first one ghosted like it was on Scooby-Doo and would occasionally flicker. The second one was DOA. This one has had absolutely no issues and has been fantastic. With Amazons return policy and fast shipping it was not much of a headache getting replacements. I highly recommend this monitor if you are looking for a 1440p 144hz IPS Panel with tons of features!

31-10-2024Spent weeks looking for a good monitor to use with my ps5. Im not really computer savvy ( I havent actively used a computer since 2014), so I basically had to research what all the specs mean, and how it would function with my console. With a $300 budget I wanted the best I could get to hit 120fps and also with hdr and at least 1080p. So the extra pixel count is a nice bonus with this model. If youre discouraged to buy a monitor after watching reviews and reading reddit threads and seeing how someone always had something negative to say about any computer product. as someone who knows basically nothing about this stuff, I can say that this particular monitor has met all my needs and Im 100% satisfied. I would buy again. Setup was super easy, you really dont even need to reed the instructions. I had it out the box and set up and playing games within 20 minutes. And the analog stick button on the back makes it super easy to navigate its menus. Just an overall amazing monitor for the price and for anyone with next gen consoles.

Greater than one weekDecent affordable 1440 monitor with a nice refresh rate. Biggest issue is the IPS glow makes this unusable for working with dark images, videos, etc. Its not the worse I have seen, but when I have this next to my K272HL its very noticeable.
