After using it for more than a year, I recommend this screen to players who want competitive games and story games because it combines these two parts because this screen has very beautiful colors and makes your experience in story games beautiful. As for those who want it in competitive games, it also has good technologies such as (HDR 400- color accuracy 98% ) To help you in competitive games, but there is something not good about it. If you enable this technology (VRB (Extreme)) there will be ghosting in colors from the reality of an experience that is only bad in this thing other than that it’s really good for the price that I bought it for.

This monitor is great for 1440p gaming. G-sync works well, and it runs up to 144Hz. Response time and input lag are minimal. Theres no perceptible motion blur. Back buttons are a bit hard to read/feel when navigating the menu. Make sure you are using the right cables! For 144Hz at 1440p, you will need at least HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2. The included monitor stand is wobbly. I have my monitor on an arm using the VESA mount. The back of the monitor is curved, which could make attaching lights or other accessories difficult. The monitor has some interesting features like Picture-in-picture if you have multiple computers. Theres also an option to have the monitor put a crosshair on your screen. I think itd be more useful if I could modify the crosshairs. The built-in options are quite bulky. Brightness and colors start to change if you are viewing this monitor at an 30-40 degree angle. The contrast ratio is mediocre, and there is some backlight bleed in dark areas of the screen. These are all expected with IPS panels. Sound: The built-in speakers try their hardest, but they sound like small speakers and I dont use them. You may want to take a minute to deactivate the Monitor speaker device in Windows so it doesnt show up on the Output list.

Got this monitor at the $300 price point before it changed to $400. So far its been a great upgrade from a 24 inch 1080p 144hz. Very happy with it.

Just received the Monitor, only had it for a few hours but its stunning compared to my former 60hz 1080p monitor. The display quality is excellent and my xbox and PC both output 2k @ 120hz perfectly. I knocked a single start down due to the max brightness not being as bright as I wanted, but otherwise this monitor is a fantastic price.

La calidad de imagen no es buena. Ni activando el HDR ni configurando todo logras que de buenos colores. Así que decepcionado de este producto

Moving from a 144hz to 240hz I really did notice a difference, especially in games like Fortnite. I think this monitor is one of the first for newer 240hz monitors at a lower price point, I got on sale for $300 which I think is the long term price point for this class of product.

I have had this monitor for about 6 months now and its great. It serves as my 2nd monitor currently. Havent had 1 issue with it to date. The speakers arent amazing but theyre no worse than any other monitor. Stand is fairly compact and very sturdy. All and all I would recommend it for sure

I was shopping for a monitor since I have been laptop gamer for my entire gaming career. I saw this monitor had good reviews, so I checked it out and decided to buy it. First off, it was extremely simple to but the monitor together and plug it into my laptop! It was very quick and easy. This monitor actually boosts my FPS compared to when I was playing on just the laptop. I am also able to run the same amount of FPS on 2560x1440 (2k) compared to 1920x1080 (1080p). The monitor works smoothly in game and for daily use. The 0.5ms response time is very quick and smooth. There is basically no delay when pressing onto the keys on my keyboard while typing and moving in game. The 170 hz response time and the vibrant colors make gaming look a whole lot better when compared to my laptop. It is really a huge difference and makes my gaming experience a lot more enjoyable. There is a ton of adjustability on this monitor. There is way more than I even need, but it is good that there are more options available. I dont know if this is just me but I am able to set my res to 4K when it is advertise to go up to 2K. I guess this is a good bonus for me.

In competitive gaming, every frame matters. Introducing Acer"s XV272U gaming monitor - the WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution monitor that can keep up with your game play. Through AMD Radeon technology, the game’s frame rate is determined by your graphics card, not the fixed refresh rate of the monitor, giving you a serious competitive edge. Plus, users can enjoy comfortable viewing experience while gaming via flicker-less, low dimming and ComfyView display. The design saves space on your desk and lets you place multiple monitors side by side to build a seamless big-screen display. (UM.HX2AA.V02).
