So I bought this for my Xbox series X. I did a lot of research on what quality I could get for a fair price, and this is what I came up with. Honestly I’ve never had something better than a GC so I have nothing to compare it to. I’m sure I couldn’t spent more money to get something a lot more crisp. But I think the picture looks great and does the job for what I paid for it. Honestly it could be a lot better with a gaming PC but like I said I’ll have to find that out later. I haven’t had any problems with the screen or how it functions. The brightness kind of bleeds into the corners like some people have said, but you don’t really notice unless the screen is completely black or it’s a dark environment. But honestly I figured out if I have it at the right height and angle relative to how high I am sitting, it fixes that issue for the most part. Overall if you’re looking for a better picture quality and a lot better refresh rate over a tv without giving an arm and a leg up, I would highly recommend this monitor. The only problem I had was the monitor doesn’t click into the stand for some reason so it’s just kind of hooked onto it. But I’m sure I could fix it if I actually took the time to look at it. As long as you have it on a flat surface that does rock to extreme angles then it should be alright.

The title says it all. I bought 2 of them and dont have a problem at all. It has been a few months already and display has been working very well. No dead pixels at all and the quality of the monitors are so good. Definity worth the money and replacement. I use the Display Port option and the quality is amazing. Acer brand is a great company that makes the best monitors.

I just opened this for the first time and set it up, and there’s already a dead pixel. Such a shame because i was so excited and this killed my mood. I’ll probably update this review in the future to give a better review. For now, 3 stars for pixel.

This monitor makes games look absolutely stunning. Going from 1080p gsync to 1440p gsync makes the games look so much better. Everything is sharper without having to crank the terrible anti-alliasing in games settings. I will not be going back to 1080p after experiencing this monitor. I also will not be going back to TN monitors, as I can safely say that an IPS monitor (like this one) are much nicer. My only complaints are the brightness (which I rate 2 stars out of 5), and the occasional flickering. It took me about an hour of testing across multiple games just to find the perfect brightness because I had to adjust the gamma, contrast, and colors just to make it bright enough and still look sharp. The issue that then arose was the flickering back to lower brightness settings. Occasionally the monitor will change back to the original brightness settings that it came with and theres not much I can really do except turn it off and on again to fix it. Sometimes it will just keep flickering between the two modes. Ive found this usually happens after prolonged use, so Ive made sure to turn off the monitor even if my computer is still on. Issues aside, I got this monitor on sale for $300 and its well worth the money.

    Greater than one week

TLDR: Ive only had it for 14hrs at the time of this review Doesnt come with a DP cable only HDMI. Color is Hazy but the quality and pixel performance is great The whites dont pop out as much so its harder to see dark spots than a non-budget 1440p or 1080p Its still really good and games look great (I play League of Legends, CoD Modern Warfare, Overwatch, Valorant, Risk of Rain 2) The stand is great. You can tip it up and down, lift it pretty high and make it entirely vertical (no tools needed). This monitor is perfect for a budget 1440p 144hz monitor. Its about $100 cheaper than buying a high quality monitor. The only thing that differs from a hq monitor and this one is the color is a hazy. The dark spots dont pop out as much as they do on my 144hz 1080p monitor because the white isnt completely white its literally hazel colored (like Rihannas skin). Like when you put your phone in night mode to eliminate the blue light to protect your eyes. You can change the settings on the back of your monitor to make it look better but at the end of the day it still doesnt look bad. In the long run itll protect your eyes and its definitely an upgrade from my 1080p monitor. The stand is great too. You can tip it up and down, lift it pretty high and make it entirely vertical (no tools needed).

Very bright and super crisp colors once you disable all the eco bullcrap. :P Very good value monitor.

Update: If your display keeps flickering black seemingly at random or when you click on a window, make sure you disable GSYNC in the Nvidia control panel. Apparently its when you have a HDMI source, even if you use DisplayPort with this monitor. If it happens at all just disable it, it isnt worth the hassle unless you use this as a secondary monitor to a real GSYNC monitor. I followed another reviews instructions for a beautiful HDR display: Enable HDR in Windows settings, set NVIDIA color settings (bottom of change resolution option) to YCbCr422, 10bpc, and limited range. Make sure to enable HDR in the monitors settings OSD. In HDR mode it is beautiful and runs/looks great at 144hz or more. HDR is a bit too bright for me, so I set it back to SDR with mid brightness and it looks pretty good/standard. You really need to mess with the display settings in either your OS or the monitor itself to get it right, dont freak out if it looks wrong when you first get it. Overall this monitor is exactly as described and looks amazing if you enable HDR. My biggest complaint is the cheap/wobbly stand. Id recommend getting a good replacement if possible. I had no issues with brightness except with HDR, but thats par for the course. Light bleed seemed perfectly acceptable to me, even with HDR enabled. OSD controller know is easy and intuitive, made it easy even with another monitor bordering the edge. I highly recommend this monitor, I upgraded from a CB271HU and its much nicer.

-Not perfect though. The stand is bad, always wobbles. Build quality is decent -Brightness is not that great, but how bright do you need it? Also I wish they had put the connectors on the back instead of under it. - The picture quality is excellent, the colors are the best part of this monitor; very vibrant and accurate. Ive experienced eye fatigue from other monitors with similar specs, but not with this monitor. Fortunately the backlight bleed is minimal, there is only some slight glow on the bottom corners. Not as sharp as 4k of course. -Excellent for gaming Very smooth 144hz picture, maybe slight blur. It is free sync capable and gsync compatible, so you can get tear free gaming with either an amd or nvidia graphics card. I would buy this again. I wouldnt pay much for a similar monitor

In all my years, i have never used an IPS Panel before. My last monitor of 8 years was a Dell ST2421L TN Panel and i was quite happy with its performance (i used it for everything included photo and video editing). The moment I plugged this Acer on and Windows booted, i was completely blown away. Compared to all my previous TN Panels, this was bright and colours were vivid. Experiencing 144Hz was not as life changing as simply the vividness and brightness of the panel. An equally superb experience was moving from 1080p to 1440p. I can game with a RTX 2060 and still get 100+ FPS in recent titles and over 144FPS in E-Sport Titles. Outside of games, having a 1440p screen is almost as good as having a dual monitor 1080p setup. My productivity increased just by having a larger screen real estate. If youre still on 1080p and / or using a TN Panel, it is definitely time to switch and for a sub $300 price you most certainly cannot go wrong. This is a must buy!!
