    Greater than one week

I wanted to get a feel for everything a Chromebook was capable of and how good an experience it could be, so I went looking for one with a broad feature set, generous configuration, and was of high quality.

I wasnt expecting Deep Thought or anything. I know Im buying a notebook for $300 but it lags really badly right out of the box. Even just opening Chrome after it boots up you have to wait yp to 10 seconds for the mouse cursor to respond again. Theres only one account registered on it, I dont save anything locally or in the cloud I use an external drive. I really only use it to draft emails and manage some documents for my nonprofit support group.

Having used many different Chromebooks, this one has a lot of ports, which is great to have. But the screen quality is so-so and the trackpad is nice.

This is beautiful specimen of a chormebook. One, Id love to recommend. Its fast, the touchscreen is precise, and bright enough to use outside. However, apparently you play Russian roulette when buying this on Prime Day from Amazon. Mine came damaged even though the box looked fine. Started using it noticing one of the hinges was crooked. Noticed the slight dent and separation later. Tried to exchange, but Amazon only accepts a return. Buyer beware.

Out of the box you realize why this Laptop/Tablet has this price tag. Its very well built and feels extremely solid and its fairly thin to boot. The screen size is perfect and the battery life really is 10 hours. I love the lighted keyboard and the touch screen plus the stylus for detailed work is very nice. My wife is more of a Tablet user so this works great if you want an Internet surfing machine that is comfortable for people who like tablets and yet it can also be used for hard core work that is easier done with a keyboard on a laptop. The mouse pad section on this unit is one of the best I have ever used on a laptop. Not only is it big but it is just so responsive and smooth. I also love how they tucked the stylus under the front edge, it took me a few minutes to find it.

I bought this convertible laptop/tablet primarily for displaying music on a stand. I wanted the widest screen possible when the screen is vertical (higher than wide). I also wanted to change over to Chrome and planned to use it as my main computer. Its well made and solid. The touch screen is great, although Id like to be able to adjust the sensitivity. I also wanted more onboard storage than most other Chromebooks have. The keyboard works well, although of course its not the same as a good separate keyboard. All in all, its worth the premium price.

Ive been a Windows user since the beginning of computers and I didnt think I would ever switch. I was going to buy an iPad but I needed a laptop. When I heard about Chromebook, I did a lot of research and watched reviews on Youtube. I learned that this Chromebook has the features of iPad that I wanted, and regular laptop that I needed, so I finally decided to pull the trigger and shopped around for this specific model and spec, but I could not find it anywhere but Amazon, so I ordered it. I am very pleased with it. It is fast, easy to use, and very convenient. I can use it as an iPad and as a standard laptop. I downloaded all Office apps that I normally use in my old Windows computer (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and I can access all files I created in Windows from my OneDrive. I highly recommend this laptop.
