> 24 hourI got this laptop during the Cyber Monday sale as my first ever computer that doesnt have Windows on it. My desktop at home has Windows 10 on it but I havent turned it on yet since this Chromebook arrived last week since I wanted to give the Acer a fair chance and see how much I really miss Windows 10. So far, there hasnt been anything that has made me wish I was using Windows 10! The only times where I have felt a little bit inconvenienced is when I need to use Microsoft Office products. I say that I was only slightly inconvenienced because I am still able to use all of the Office programs (in multiple ways actually, now that there is Google Play Store support), they are just a different layout than I am used to and may not have some of the more extensive features that the Windows version has. For the vast majority of users, however, there will be a small adjustment period and then itll be fine after that.

> 24 hourI have a workstation where I run real applications, so I was very interested in using crositini/linux and ssh -X with a chromebook to have a cheap mobile laptop. The touchscreen and tablet form factor seemed worth trying out as well. Im completely satisfied on both fronts. 80+% of what I do I can do natively on the Chromebook (email, office apps, etc), and indeed the linux VM does everything I hoped it would. I really like having a touch-screen and stylus for taking notes on. The battery life is excellent but its only a month old. Even if I forget to plug it in overnight, I can usually go the second day just fine if Im careful with it. But I easily get a full days work out of it on a full charge even heavy use with the screen full-bright.

> 24 hourThe resolution on this Chromebook is horrible. I mean, gray, fuzzy, and outdated. I was flabbergasted. Had to return and spend a little bit more for the Samsung Chromebook 2. Now that’s a nice device!

> 24 hourThis is an excellent product and a great replacement for Windows. This has everything I wanted (touch screen, stylus, fold back design, and more). I only gave it four stars because of one small flaw. It seem that all Chromebooks put the cooling vent intake on the bottom and exhaust out the back, this one does. But they do not leave enough room for the fan (under the unit) to pull in air and it tends to get hot if you do not prop it up a little in the back or get a cooling pad.

> 24 hourThe hinge broke after one week. And the worse was the Chrome OS couldnt be updated successfully. I need to rest the machine to the same old OS Everytime when it try to reboot for update.

> 24 hourWould not connect to my printer which is less than a year old. Otherwise, Chrome is so much better that Microsoft product. Chrome uses a different operating system. Good streaming and Internet. All my documents were saved from when I last used them.

> 24 hourSo far I like this. I just set it up yesterday. I should have realized that Gorilla glass would mean the screen is just like my phone - there is a lot of glare. My old Chromebook had an anti-glare screen, which I much prefer. Oh well - thats my bad.
