This is a good computer for casual use. However, if you are looking for a laptop to use for work, this is not a good fit for you. This machine cannot handle running a video call and having spreadsheets open at the same time.

Laptop is plenty fast enough for the price. I was able to install the SSD out of my old laptop to use for extra storage.

I love this ACER? It takes about 45 seconds for it to boot up. So far Windows 11 seems stable enough. Well worth the money I paid for it.

I am so frustrated. I just bought this system. I clicked on the acer folder that came with the system and there is no recovery disk section like my first acer. I went to their website and found an article that says my system includes acer recovery management software and it is NOwhere on my computer. This is very upsetting. I loved my first acer as everything was so easy and I promptly made recovery disks for that acer but I dont know why this new computer does not have any folder called Acer Recovery Management on it.

This laptop has been a great purchase for my mom. If youre looking for something to do some light tasks like using itunes, going on Facebook and the like, this is a solid purchase. Its fast and responsive for those kinds of light use, but dont expect it to run any sort of modern games well.

When I opened the box and turned it on it was impressive. I went through the setup process, and I noticed there were multiple choices for PC names. I should have known it was probably a returned product but continued with setup. The battery was on 40% when opened. After going through the rest of setup the battery was down below 20%. I plugged it in when I first turned it on and it never got above 5% again. Finally, it shut down and would not restart and never did charge. I went on YouTube and followed instructions (reset battery). Nothing worked. I had looked at the charger and realized it was an after-market charger. The charger had no Acer markings. All of the stickers on the original box had been removed (I should have snapped right away). I have had a previous Acer laptop in the past and was really looking forward to this one. The price was right and so were the specs for the money. Acer has really disappointed this time. I just finished boxing it up for a full refund. I think Ill stick with HP or Dell from now on. Im also disappointed in Amazon (selling returned/refurbished products for new) for not verifying 3rd party quality. Lesson learned.

Bought this for my wife - and as a computer I could use for my programming needs if my main machine were to ever fail. This computer is perfect for surfing the web, writing a book, doing basic home or mid level computing needs. I upgraded this computer with a 2T SDD (easy to do folks - take the screws off the bottom and carefully lift up the base and everything is exposed). JUST MAKE SURE you get the correct SDD for the slot (check online for what SDD connector is in this machine). By the way, you dont need the fastest card in the world for this thing. Even the lowest end SDD will work just fine in this thing. As for RAM, it really only needs another 4 to 8 gig of RAM and itll be a slightly faster machine for you.

Well had this since Feb 15, it is March 10, screen has gone crazy, pink and weird lines. I havent done anything to it. I had it on shut it off, when I went to use it again, the screen was a total mess. Last computer I purchase from Amazon. They say the only return policy is dead on arrival. So guess they expect it to only last a short time. Im so upset.
