> 3 daySpark tested this, definitely high carbon. The packaging, as others have said, was good. No rust, no pitting, very light oil, fast shipping, and everything got to me undamaged and not bent or twisted. Looking forward to testing really testing this steel.

> 3 daySteel was carefully and securely wrapped in oil paper. A few scratches on some of the bars. The dimensions (see pictures) are slightly less than the 12 x 1/2 x 1/8. Two bars were pretty straight, but the third one had a slight bow. These bars are going to be cut, ground, heat treated, etc, so none of theses things IMHO are major issues, but I point them out for anyone who is relying on specific dimensions for their project.

Greater than one weekThese flat stock pieces are perfect for getting knife making started. They came packed tightly and very clean with no rust spots. Will work well for various sizes of knifes. Good price for the material.

> 3 dayThis is exactly what it says it is. According to my calipers the dimensions are pretty spot on. I ordered these to make a cpl knives for holiday gifts, just havent been able to get in my shop lately. Hopefully Ill be able to update with a photo of a finished knife soon made from this blade stock. Happy Shopping.

Greater than one weekI’m not a knife maker, but I like keeping stock around to make scrapers and blades that can be hardened and sharpened. This is great stuff.

> 3 dayI’m new to knife making and bought these blanks to practice some of the basics on. I have a friend who has made a few knives and told me to order this steel. So far I’ve only cut out a basic shape with my angle grinder and that part went OK. This being my first time using steel to fabricate a knife I have nothing to compare this particular steel to. So far all I can say is that I have not run not any problems using it.

01-11-2024These metal blanks came well packaged they were slightly oiled which was nice, there is no rust or corrosion. This metal was as easy to work with as was described on the Internet. It is a great beginner metal. It does hold a very nice edge. Im very happy with how my knives have come out so far and I look forward to using the rest of these blanks as my craft can only improve with such great quality materials to learn from.
