These large heater keep my 50 pound Tortiuse warm in Southern California. I bought 2 of them and mounted them on the walls of his doghouse.

Our sulcata loves his heating pad. We bought a second one for our goat who decided to move into the tortoises house. Now theyll both have a warm spot when it gets cold here in Florida

These are AWESOME! My leopard torts are in heaven! They provide consistent heating, the temperature in San Diego might dip to freezing at night during the winter months but rest assured knowing these will maintain 80-90 degree warmth when outdoor temps drop to 35-40 degrees!

We are using this in our tortoise home that we made out of a prefab dog house. One ceramic bulb and this plate are keeping an extra large dog house approximately 76 degrees in our Northern California backyard (nighttime temps just above freezing).

Love this product. Works great with our 80 pound tortoise. As well as with our dogs and cats outside. Great product. Great design. Endless animal applications.
