> 3 daySeems to be a nice little light for our Leopard Geckos habitat. We purchased this along with thr lowest watt bulbs for the item. Gecko seems happy when out and about at night in his habitat. Note: make sure the item is in the permanent place as when adding the springs to the screen lid it seems to be a one-time placing.

> 3 dayI use this on top of a screen cage for my veiled chameleon. It works great, is small enough that it doesnt take the whole cage area and really directs where the heat goes. The casing does get hot, but not hot enough to burn me when I move it. My chameleon loves to sit right underneath it when it is cold in the house and she does not get burned.

> 3 dayWorks great and is small and compact. Only wish the arms were able to be longer, as the bulbs can be very strong.

> 3 daySwitch stopped working unexpectedly within THREE DAYS of plugging in the lamp. Unfortunately, I was about the leave the state for surgery for two weeks and didnt have time to return it right away. Now that Im back, the return date has passed. Seriously annoyed.

> 3 dayWill return. It would not turn on, even after I replaced the bulb (which does not come with it, btw).

Greater than one weekSkeptical at first, as Zilla isnt really known for quality. Every now and then, I guess any company can hit a home run. I use them with generic G9 25w bulbs for my chameleon cages. 6 and counting, with no issues.

> 3 dayHave had 2 of these for one month for my bearded dragons. At 3-4 inches from the heat source, the best I can get out of both units through the screen top is 78-80 F at the 2 inch diameter “sweet spot.” It’s my understanding that Beardies need 100-110 F at the basking area. I can hold my hand directly under the lamp without any discomfort for extended periods. Great concept, but both units just failed to perform and will be returned. I can’t rely on inconsistent performance. Think I will try a halogen PAR flood light from local home center that fits standard clamp light. Apparently, many have good results with this option.
