> 24 hourBeen really enjoying the headphones: the bluetooth multipoint support is really nice and the build and sound quality is decent. Unfortunately I got these headphones for active noise cancellation and for inexplicable reasons sony has decided that they are smarter than the consumer and took away the ability to set the anc strength that the xm4s had. This should be an option and until it affects headphone sales sony has in incentive to reverse this decision.

> 24 hourThese sound ok. Personally like the sound from older Bose 700 model. But always disconnecting and not working with Teams. Frustrated that they are not able to handle it. Yes I have tried everything on Windows 10 to get them to work. They will literally work watching a YouTube video and as soon as I go to Teams they stop working.

> 24 hourFelt pretty happy with the 1000XM3 until I got the XM5. Clarity and dynamics are vastly improved. Bass pressure is incomparably better without being boomy. And comfort is better than the XM3, no more discomfort after long flights. A brilliant pair of headphones.

> 24 hourI bought these initially for air travel as I no longer appreciate the loud “white” noise of the cabin. I finally was able to sleep going to Europe. I bought these “Used, Like New” for about 1/2 price and it was a bargain! They included everything, even the packaging that looked new. Oh! I also wore these in the hotel when I slept and they were comfy. Basically, I bought these for one purpose, but ended up using them more often than what I intended.

> 24 hourI flight long haul international flights and need to cancel out the plane engined nose. My old bose headphones were ready to retire and I wanted to research Sony. I don’t mind paying the high price but I do expect top quality. Unfortunately, the seal around the ears was not tight enough, and the sensory touch activated with one strain of hair

> 24 hourI’ve had it for a few months now and it’s one of my most prized possessions. I bought a pair of Bose headphones before this one. I prefer the noise cancellation that Bose has, but I wanted them specifically for listening to music and Sony is where it’s at in that aspect. I love music and it’s a big part of my life. These headphones are perfect!

> 24 hourI love everything about these headphones. I literally where them all day. They are beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The battery life is great and the adaptability of the NC feature to ambient is amazing. They are so smart I hardly need the app. Which is good because I don’t really like the app for them that much.

> 24 hourI’m writing this review after using this headphone for multiple train and plane rides. The noise cancelling is way too good. Besides some high frequency sounds, the headphone was able to cancel out over 95% the noises. The remaining 5% are all higher frequency sounds but those can be ignored very easily. Now I’m not an audiophile so I can’t really comment on how it sounds, but it sounds good enough for me.

> 24 hourI came from using Airpods pros to these and the difference in noise cancellation is night and day. Especially when music is playing you cannot hear a thing in the background. The transparency mode is decent, but my voice sounds a bit weird when I talk while its on. Otherwise these are super light and very comfortable at the gym as well, highly recommend

> 24 hourI bought these specifically for work to drown out all of the side conversations in my office. I have zero complaints and this was probably my best purchase of 2022. The noise canceling is great and the sound quality is clean. I like that these have adaptive features based on what Im doing or my surroundings, and I can talk to others without taking them off if. I read about seeing fingerprints on these in black so opted for the silver. But I gravitated towards the silver anyways because I tend to prefer neutral muted tones.
