> 3 dayI actually liked the headphones! Noise cancellation isnt as great as the AirPods Max and neither transparency, but the sound quality was a little better in my opinion. But the overall feel just felt like plastic??? I dont know how to exactly describe it but they were extremely light, which is a great thing for others but not for me, I want to the headphones to feel as if theyre durable and high quality, these felt like they were about to break at some point. I wasnt a big fan of the texture and feel of the headphones so I decided to return them. Heres a massive problem though... I decided to return them but BEWARE! Amazon customer service is absolutely terrible in helping you process the return. They keep telling me that the package is on its way when I already checked with UPS and theyre actually already delivered. Amazon customer service doesnt want to help me and they keep telling me that it takes two weeks for the package to be delivered. They also told me that someone from Returns was going to reach out to me by my email within 24-48 hours and its been over 48 hours since anyone has contacted me. Its stressing me out. Also I had the chance to choose the option to pay the headphones in a monthly payment plan so Im actually even more stressed and angry that they arent taking the return process quickly and seriously, because what if I end paying the next months payment and they still havent processed the return?! What then?! Im not paying for another monthly installment of headphones that I clearly returned and no longer own!! This is just a fair heads up that there are ups and downs when ordering anything highly priced with Amazon and when choosing to do monthly installments on highly priced items. -Also be careful if you plan to order any other expensive headphones like Sony or Bose, the whole amazon returns and customer service are just sadly terrible when it comes to returning any electronic devices overall. I would rather buy new headphones off of best buy or target in person if you want to try them out and not hassle with a whole return process like amazon- Headphones: 3/5 Amazon customer service: sadly a 0/5

> 3 dayThe noise cancellation is insane to me. I brought them on a road trip where noise and screaming is prominent and by my surprise canceled it like crazy. And the sound is even better. Just in all a great pair of headphones. 10/10 would recommend buying them.

> 3 dayOverall Im happy with these headphones. The sound is OK but my old Bose were, I think, better. I have a big head (not in the ego sense) and these fit comfortably. I also have silver hair so the white blended in nicely. My only beef with these is the adaptive noise cancelling. Seems like a great idea in theory but it doesnt work very well. I was wearing these and using an electric weed whacker. Everything started out just fine and I could barely hear the weed whacker. Then, for no reason at all, the noise cancelling cut out and I heard all of the ambient noise. After about a minute the noise cancelling turned on again. This same thing has happened at other times as well. I suspect it was because I was stationary (although I have no idea why I would want to hear everything around me if I was standing still). I finally gave up and turned the feature off.

> 3 dayWH-1000MX5 is on the high-end tier of Sony’s headphones lineup so there is no doubt that its audio quality is superb. I like the old design better, to be honest. Nearly 99% of the headphone is made out of plastic, which makes it feels cheap. But the plus side is it’s super lightweight and flexible. The battery life is just as amazing as its predecessors. I use this headphone a lot, and it can easily go on for 2 days straight under my usage.

> 3 dayI bought these when they were discounted by $50 and have been using them for about 3 months now for both personal and work from home use. Sound quality, noise cancellation, microphone, and battery are great; they are pretty light and the clamping force is just right. The only thing that could be better is the headband part which can become uncomfortable after some time. But this seems to vary as my wife does not experience this issue. At this price though, you can’t really ask for more: if you want the same quality and more comfort, you would need to go with the higher end ones which are $200 more

Greater than one weekI really like the headphones but the band is a bit big (trust me my heads not small) so anytime I’m doing a work out on my back or stomach down they fall off and it get annoying. In addition to this any work outs that your arms go above your head will trigger the touch feature and skip your tracks

Greater than one weekNoise cancelling, wireless, long lasting battery life, easy and great bluetooth connection, comfortable, sounds great. Price is definitely not affordable, but worth the buy. A great investment. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekEasily the best headphones I have ever owned. Pros: Best sound for the price Nice EQ settings (could be more advanced though) Clean & Modern Design Top tier ANC (Noice Cancellation) (better than Airpod Max) Cons: Not as portable as XM4s Not quite as padded as XM4, but still very comfortable to me (this is subjective) Pass through is not quite as good as Airpod Max (but remember ANC is better on XM5s)
