> 3 dayLet me just start off by saying these are SO GOOD! The quality, the look, the sound ARE SO GOOD! They are so sleek!! if someone were to blindfold me and put these on my head, I would really think they were a Apple product, from the sound quality and features. All of my personal devices are Apple products, and I decided to go out of the box for these kind of headphones and definitely made the right choice. I tried the Apple ones, but in my opinion, these were lighter and more comfortable with the same quality. And these are definitely at a bit lower price point. 11/10 recommend.

> 3 dayThese are a great pair of headphones that have incredible noises canceling. The base on these are not the best. An equalizer is recommended if you plan on making these your daily driver for listening to music.

> 3 dayThese are sick. There’s even a app you can customize your settings and how you want specific settings for when your up and active, when someone speaks to you, or if you just sitting down studying. The volume controls are swiping either up or down vertically. To skip songs, it’s horizontal left. They are very comfortable, HOWEVER after certain times after long wear, give or take 5-6 hours they can get a little uncomfortable but I think that’s inevitable. However as a broke college student, these allow me to stay focus while also communicating with my peers. Trust me, they are worth the money.

> 3 dayI own the XM4s and Bose QC-35s. First, it should be said the XM4s are superior to the Bose QC-35s in comfort, sound and ANC. I only use the Bose in bad weather because it has manual buttons. The design of the XM5 is a radical departure. Sony opted to provide less padding between the the headband and the top of the head. For sensitive users, like myself, there is a feeling of a bump on the top of the head which is annoying. These headphones also fit tighter, i.e., more clamping pressure. Simply put, to this user, they are noticeably less comfortable as the XM4s to wear. Overall I was very satsified with my XM4s, but I received a unit where the auto-shutoff did not work and therefore tried the newer XM5s. With the XM5s, I was constantly fiddling with them to get the elusive comfortable feel. With the XM4s, I just put them on and they fit like a glove. The XM5s are better than the XM4s in many other ways (8 microphones etc), but for me, comfort is king, something I wont compromise on. Sony copied the non-folding style of the Bose 700s. If it aint broke, dont fix it. In my view this new design is an an unforced error, but Im clearly in the minority with this viewpoint.

Greater than one weekIm coming from the Sony H900N so keep that in mind. Immediately noticeable: 1) How lightweight they are compared to my last pair. Night/day difference. These headphones are an upgraded and new form of my old headphones. The actual headphones poke out a little more but weigh much less than my old pair. 2) Design - flawless. I use these for studying, workflow, and eventually working out although I have not done that yet. Very nice to look at, and comfortable to wear. 3) Function - It has all the functions I loved with my old headphones with more sensitive and touch-friendly material on the headphones which acts as a remote (forward, backward volume up /down/ pause/play, etc. ) 4) I have seen a lot of people complain about it not folding down but I have zero complaints. Its not a big deal. In fact, even though my old headphones folded down they were exposed in my bag. If I put my old headphones in its case I feel they were much bulkier than this carrying case. The new case is of quality, light material and has a loop to carry it with. I just stick the whole thing in my bag and feel better about it having the extra protection. 5) Im very happy with my buy. I only upgraded because my old sony left headphones started to give out after 4-5 years of heavy lifting and use. That itself speaks to the quality of SONY.

> 3 dayIf youre going to be wearing these headphones for many hours, then this is a bad choice. After 1 hour of work, the head and ears begin to hurt.

31-10-2024I think these headphones are incredible! Theyre lightweight, comfortable and I love the material! The sound is great: crisp, smooth and pops! I love the smart features of them pausing and playing depending on whether theyre on or off your head. These are my first headphones where you can connect to 2 devices simultaneously and thats game changing for me. Now for the things that I dont like. I dont like that you cant fold them. I dont know who thought that would be good be idea but I definitely hate that you cant. Volume: Im coming from the XB900N series. Those headphones are like about 3 years old. You can definitely tell that the volume from these are not on par with those. If the volume from the N series produced a level 100 volume than these are are around 90. Maybe its a good thing so people wont hurt their hearing but I do wish they were a little louder. Bass: I know the N series is supposed to produce superior bass but I feel like the bass on these on these are perhaps a tad low. The difference between those 2 is huge. For people who dont care about bass this will not be a big deal but if you love bass perhaps these are not the best for you. Overall great headphones!
