> 3 daymade in china! the comfort is ok, but the sound for hi res streams in a little shrill, and poorly controlled. I ran sound through the headsets foe almost two days, and heard no mellowing. The 50 ohm resistance means a computer with external dac/head amp provided plenty of volume, but classical in particular comes in as confused. With jazz, the sound is better overall. I have other headsets for travel and main amps and cd players, and bought this set for computer bases use. Its disappointing, and doesnt sound like a Sennheiser.

> 3 dayI cannot be more satisfied with my Sennheiser Headphones so far. The sound quality is superb, and they are light and VERY comfortable to wear. I also found that the sound leakage was far less than I have been led to believe. I got these along with the little fiio e10k, and I reccomend that you purchase either one of these or a similar unit. You simply cannot get comparable increase in sound quality with speakers without putting out FAR more money.

> 3 dayBrother of the renowned HD598. These are exactly like them except for the color and an additional short 3.5mm cable. They are very comfortable, so much that I am now using them over my DT990. Cant beat the performance/price when they are on sale.

> 3 dayIncredible headphones that beat every other pair ive owned, including mid-high level AKGs and Sennheisers. Extremely clear and revealing, these phones will bring new listening pleasure to old familar songs. Drops a star as they are very (very) leaky. I get dirty looks if using these in the presence of other people, even at low levels. Also these are relatively low impedence so need driving hard, id recommend a headphone amp with these if using from an ipod or similar.

> 3 dayWarning, Im not an audiophile. These sound fine to me, as do pretty much all headphones I own, and I didnt have to break them in. I got them on a good sale because my close-can style headphones (Sennheiser 280 Pro) hurt my head after a while and can get a little hot, so I wanted to try an alternative. You cant exactly take open-cans to work, but anything but earbuds is a bit clunky and gives me headphone-hair so thats not really a option anyway. I like the sound and how they feel on my ears, definitely very soft and cool compared to my closed-cans. Perfect for gaming or listening to music when I dont want to bother others in the house, as long as they arent in the same room.
