> 3 dayThese sound a lot better than my Bose headphones(good mids and weak lows) I bought last year. I was looking for the perfect headphones that has better sound stages and these do what I am looking for. When I saw the design I knew from an engineering prospective it would sound natural. Besides the the great sound I like how light weight these are.

> 3 dayJust got them last evening. I havent spend much time on these headphones, but from whatever little time I had with these they are just a wonderful pair of headphones. I compared these against the ATHM50xs I already own. Without a doubt these are much better in every aspect other than noise isolation. The sound stage was like a revelation coming from the M50Xs. I wouldnt say the sound leak is bad, but the noise isolation really is. But thats what you get with open back design. Youll have to crank up the volume if theres someone talking in your room or if there are loud noises around. My major concern before I bought these were if it would lack bass and sound tinny. But that is not the case, the bass is definitely present. It is not as bassy as the Audio Technicas but it is definitely present and it is tight. Did I mention about comfortability? These are like pillows on your head. They are extremely light and comfortable. I know these are only around 20 grams lighter than the M50Xs. But they just float. Unbelievably light and comfortable. Will update the review once I have spend some time with these. Cheers.

> 3 dayI got these late last year during a Black Friday deal. Ill preface this by saying that I am not an audiophile. I appreciate good sounding music, but I cannot speak like an audiophile. The long and short of it is that these headphones are spectacular and the best Ive ever owned. As with any good set of headphones, they made me want to re-listen to my entire music collection. I can pick our specific instruments I had never heard before. Bass is plenty for me (despite some reviews commenting that it is weak), and I appreciate the flat sound representation. As these are open-back headphones, people around me can hear what I am playing. This was fully expected on my part, but future buyers need to make sure thats OK. There is zero sound isolation and these are not suitable for use at work, on the bus, etc. I can also hear my surroundings very clearly as if Im not wearing any headphones. Again, this was fully expected on my part (and actually preferred so I could hear my newborn baby!), but future buyers need to take that into consideration.

> 3 dayJai acheté ce casque au moment du black friday après avoir lu quelques avis et tests. Je le recommande particulièrement pour lécoute de CD à partir dune platine reliée à un ampli. Avec les MP3 cest pas mal, mais il est vrai que les bass sont un peu faibles parfois.

> 3 dayFor such a highly respected brand and expensive product, one would think the engineering team would be smart enough to design a 3.5mm that would fit snug to any portable device with a case. Instead Sennheiser decided to have an adapter with a straight cut about a centimeter in diameter. Second, I would have expected a carrying/protective case like the Bose QC25. In short: - 1 star for terrible design on 3.5mm adapter - 1 star for no carrying case included. - 1 star for pricepoint. +1 star for comfort. +1 star for quality of sound.
