I Use these mainly for gaming and not music and they are really good for telling which direction and how far away someone is, very big soundstage and really good imaging. only downside for gaming is that its open back so you hear everything in the room, but open backs are just how you get the big soundstage

Really good neutral sound for the price. Would recommend if you are looking for a close reference sound. It has a long cable. You dont need an Amp or DAC to make them work decently out of the box, however it may help.

Never had a more comfortable headset out of the box. Its Sennheiser so yeah the sound is crisp, especially for the price. Stop reading this and just buy them if ur debating it

These are a great pair of headphones that have wonderful sound quality, crisp and clear high end and true bass.

The sound is pretty good but not great by no means and the material is super cheap also the mechanics inside the headband are janky to say the least. I recommend spending a few more dollars on something actually comfortable and you can adjust without feeling like throwing these at the wall.

Have been using this headset for a few months now and I cannot stress how comfortable it is for full day use with either work or gaming. The clamp force is perfect and theyre big enough where you dont feel them touching your ears which is ideal for me personally. Theyre open-backed so there is no sound cancelling (which I prefer) but the soundscape on them is great, just be aware of that if youre in a noisy space or a large room. Overall a fantastic choice and well worth its price tag.

Interesting headphones. First, the dislikes, which are my opinions and may be different for physical head shape and music type. Clamping force when new is a little tigher than I like, but like my HD 650 should be fine with a few months of use. I wish they had a different cable design as I dont like the single 2.5mm TRRS on the left ear. The ear openings are long and a bit narrow for my ears. So long that I there is a gap where I can slide my finger up from the bottom and touch my earlobes without contacting the pads. I consider my ear size and shape to be average and dont have this problem with the HD 650. Now for the likes: Soundstage seems a bit wider and more defined instrument location than the 650. Bass is not bad. Fairly tight and defined, but never what I would consider heavy. Better for the Jazz, Fusion, and Rock that I enjoy, but may not be good for electronic and HipHop and Rap. Mids are well balanced and just a bit forward, and treble is clean and detialed without harshness or sibilance. Overall well balanced and smooth with no surprises. Exceptional value if they hold up as well as the HD 650 has. The supplied cable is on the plus side of 9 feet long. I wish that they included a shorter one for mobile listening.

I’ve had IEMs and closed back headphones until now. Really enjoying the sound of these. Revisiting a lot of music in my library with these and I’m happy with the results.

I saw many people saying these headphones were great, especially for the price-range. I found them almost painful to listen to: extremely muffled and tinny - the cheap USB headset Ive had for 10 years sounds vastly more clear. I spent days trying to fix these: installing and reinstalling drivers, consulting tech support guides, etc. I talked to someone with a similar problem who said an external DAC had helped, so I bought one. Nothing made these headphones sound better, though. Now Im returning them. I saw a review here when I bought these saying what Im saying now. I should have listened...

Ive tried these a while back before buying them and I am still baffled about how good these are for the price.
