I purchased these for leisure listening a couple years ago and have gotten great use out of them... just keep in mind they are open back so you can hear everything around you. Its best to be used in a quiet space. The cord it comes with is quite long so when im just in my room it stretches everywhere I walk however I would reccommend purchasing the standard length auxillary cord (not a typical one, any alternate cords must be special ordered from sennheiser as it has a specific fit) if you plan on using them as a portable set. They stay comfortable after hours of use. Sound quality is great for the price I purchased it at, and in the two years Ive had it its good as day one.

They are great for gaming and music creation but a little harsh on the treble for casual listening

What I have heard so far I am impressed with the Sennheiser HD 560S.Currently used on a computer with Schiit Modi 3+/Magni headphone amp these shine on Spotify.Well mastered audio/cds will bring forth little nuanced music that was likely hidden previously. Now the disclaimer.Poor recordings and/or sub-par stereo gear will limit the full potential to come through. But you dont need super pricey gear to enjoy these, even a modest set-up will work just fine.So far I have noticed that acoustic music, classical, jazz and more will benefit from the Sennheiser 560S headphones, even my 70 year old ears will attest.Enjoy.

I did this pair of cans with the suggested DAC/AMP the cheaper FiiO E10K ($80). While it powered it, it sounded weak or less-filled and anemic even in my opinion. The FiiO E10K sound Better with my 32 Ohms Samsung SR850 ($40). So Im returning this DAC/AMP now that Ive just connected these 560s Sennheisers to the FiiO K5 ($150). Its a shame that you have to go for more power to power these 120 Ohms, but having given it more power, I now see WHY the reviewers (some of them experts) of these phones are so impressed. Ive seen a 60+ year old pro praise these 560s ($200) with naming the Sundaras ($350) as being the only one better. I can see now that he had more power going into these to be able to say that no other phones are better except Sundaras, however the Sundaras are HIFIMANs and HIFIMANs generally have QC issues I see. So just to have slightly better phones would you go with HIFIMAN or Germanys (though made in Chinas) Sennheisers? This made me happy with my purchase of these, my first endeavor into studio reference phones (besides the Samsons Ive used for 2 years). I will put the Samsons through this K5 just to see the difference there too. The Samson while cheap, and not as accurate or not with the best imaging (so more cluttered in awareness), are still excellent for the price for music with their more protruding bass (compared to the 560s). The 560s are just CLEAN period, now that I got the K5 driving it. The treble no longer pierces my ears with the K5 as it did with the E10K. Its unbearable when underpowered, now its not so much like chalkboard being scratched.

Great sounding headphones at this price range. Comfort is great too. I use them for gaming and dont experience any issues with ears getting hot.

Soy muy cómodos, por su diseño abierto no son recomendables para usar en exteriores. Tienen una calidad de sonido muy buena y aunque los materiales son de plástico se pueden sustituir las almohadillas y el cable si se llega a descomponer.

Excellent overall sound quality. No headphone noise (not even slightest hum or background noise affecting clarity). Good highs, lows, and midrange. Very comfortable. Only had these about a month so far, and so far no problems.
