> 3 dayAmazing clarity/detail, mids and highs are the shining point of these headphones and if you like treble these headphones have plenty. Even though the highs mids and highs are so well emphasized there not sharp and dont really have any sibilants. The bass is actually pretty good but the really down low bass is lacking. Id say there well balanced and are good cheap audiophile headphone.

> 3 dayThese are really nice headphones and the sound quality is outstanding. I have a large head and they sit a little tighter than my much-used HD518s. This will get better with time as the plastic expands and can be stretched a little. Like the 518s, the cord is removable and it locks into place. Just a slight turn to the left will unlock it. It comes standard with a regular large phono jack and 3.5mm adapter. I may invest in a few extra cords so I can use the set on multiple devices. Overall, Im very pleased with the value and quality.

> 3 dayI love my purchase of these cans, the sound stage is incredibly open. I use them mainly for gaming and watching movies. Both of which they are more than up for. Hearing footsteps and positioning where sound it coming from has never been easier. I cant say enough good about them and Ive been using them for 2 months. They are pricey if your used to looking at the less expensive stuff, but for how comfortable they are and how precise the sound is that they reproduce, the cans are more than worth it IMO.

> 3 dayThey have clear sound and decent comfort, though I had to tune them with an equalizer for a little bit to get them to my liking. The headphones material feels cheap when you hold them but its not a big issue as they ultimately get the job done. You can easily drive them even with a smartphone. It was an upgrade from Philips SHP9600 and overall Im quite happy!

> 3 dayExcelente alternativa a monitores de audio, empecé a hacer mezclas y masterización y el sonido es muy bueno, son cómodos, viene con adaptador de plug a mini plug, el cable de audio se puede reemplazar por otro si este se llegara a romper o dañar (le tienes que dar vuelta ya que tiene un seguro), tengo un mes usándolos y no me arrepiento de la compra.

> 3 dayThese are the minimum and ideal value for open-backs, for closed back get the AKG K371. Only two headphones you need. Both are not as comfortable as the SHP9500, but the HD 560S are comparable in comfort while having better clamping. Neither need an amp. As open backs you shouldnt be blasting these to compete with outside noise, so dont expect them to be practical if you dont have a quiet space. With EQ you can get hear the details in bass you wont get with the SHP9500, and the rest of the range is smoother as well as more detailed. It was clear to me how good these were compared to the Philips, but I have sensitive ears, if you dont know if your ears are sensitive they arent. I havent put the Philips on since I got the HD 560S, I felt practically cheated and the price is justified when you consider how many experiences you enjoy compared to ~50 dollars for a 2 hour movie trip, and hundreds of hours of great audio.

01-11-2024The sound reproduction exceeded my expectations, I love listening to music with these headphones...especially high resolution SACDs and Blu-ray audio. Excellent balance and clarity with deep (but not hyped) bass, articulate midrange and extended, airy treble - really impressive for a dynamic driver headphone. The cable is lengthy but its thin and feels substandard. The build quality is solid, but its mostly plastic and its comfortable on my head of hours at a time, a real bargain on sale for $160.
