> 24 hourI rarely write reviews for products but I would be doing a disservice for those contemplating buying these. The build quality is ok, nothing to write home about, the headphones are really tight on the jaws for the first 3 hours but get very comfortable after give or take 6 hours. Now about the sound, the sub-bass extension on these in my opinion is excellent gets really down low WHEN its needed, the mid-bass and upper bass might be lacking for bass heads but I found it quite suitable for my tastes. The midrange and the treble are also great had no problems with them, they are forward but not shouty or sibilant, quite smooth actually. The instrument separation and detail are very good which also compliments the phenomenal imaging and is better than average soundstage. Also, these headphones dont require much to drive them but you would not get the best volume with a laptop or phone source, an amp is reccomended.

> 24 hourOne word- excellent! Highly recommended, and fantastic value for substantially less than the HD 600 models.

> 24 hourIm no audiophile, but these are definitely the best headphones I have ever personally owned in terms of sound quality. I upgraded from ATH-M50xBT and there was a noticeable increase in quality and overall soundstage performance. Happy with my purchase.

> 24 hourFor the five years of my PC gaming history(yes I played XBOX and PS before then.), I have had razor products because the people who helped get me into pc always recommended me razor. after 3 headsets, two keyboards, I felt it was time for a change. For starters, I am not an audiophile. However, playing games like Escape from Tarkov, Rainbow Six, I knew it was time for a quality headset that would allow me to succeed in games were sound was the upmost importance. So I set out to do some research into headsets that were of premium quality. Yes, to me these headsets are premium, even thought I know that that there are thousand dollar headsets that would blow these out of the water.

> 24 hourIts a great all- rounder for the price. Doesnt have as good detail or imaging as the HD660s but is better tuned then the HD 6xx. Superior tuning lets it sound balanced, clear and more dynamic then the 6XXs, initially. Further critical listening with a decent amp allows the HD6XXs to show better definition and more depth without the treble grainyness of the 560s. SOUNDSTAGE is what the 560s ultimately provides that the HD5 and HD6 lines dont and along the great tuning and some dampening combination , initiating all the buzz over them.

> 24 hourThese are excellent headphones. The sound is pristine. The cups fit very comfortably over your ears. The noise cancellation is spot-on. And its great that theres an adaptor for the cord, so that you can plug these beauties into your home stereo but also your phone. Sennheiser is a reliable outlet for quality headphones, and this pair is a prime example of that.

> 24 hourThe headphones do not come with an adapter from 1/4 in to 3.5 mm or a detachable cable as described. A delivery attempt wasn’t made by the date guaranteed and the full shipping rate was still charged. Otherwise they are good headphones, but this is a bad place to buy them from.
