Prob would have worked with any SSD but this one tripled the speed of my PC when upgraded from an HDD

I had a 5400RPM drive that was failing. Unfortunately, since the original drive was failing, I couldnt get the cloning software to complete so I just reinstalled the OS. Installation was simple. This is the third Samsung drive I have installed and all three are functioning perfectly.

I have only bought and used a few SSDs, I still am a bit wary of them, as I have used hard drives since they first became available. There is not doubt that SSDs are a lot faster, use less power, and run far cooler, not to mention quieter. Samsung has been a game changer in this field.

I only trust Samsung SSD drives, if I had a higher budget Id look at data center drives but for day to day home personal use Ill stick with Samsung.

I bought this to replace my boot drive in an old laptop. The performance difference is shocking. It used to take at least 5 minutes to start my laptop and now merely under one minute. If you are replacing your boot drive like I do, make sure you have a sata cable for cloning data since its not included. The installation process is a breeze and it only takes me a few minutes to switch out my old drive.

Gotta love the SSD market nowadays since the costs have come way down on SSDs. This Samsung is perfect for my fathers computer who had a 1TB HDD in a 8th Gen Intel processor. Everyone should invest in SSDs. 10 Second Boot ups, Shut Downs and Windows Updates go much quicker. Samsung is quality, second to none
