This SSD is a really good update for your PS4

I needed an SSD because I always had a lack of storage. Buying and installing this did the trick. Its much faster than a generic SSD that I own. I install all my games on this, and the loading times are short!

I purchased this item over the Hynix SK product mainly because of the supposedly superior software that came with it, but was somewhat disappointed by the migration software that came from Samsungs website. While it was both fast and convenient, it simply did not work. I tried several times but it simply wouldnt boot, instead telling me that This copy of Windows 7 is not genuine; not good enough. It finally took most of a day, along with a combination of Easeus Partition Manager, a Windows repair disk, a cable swap, a BIOS boot-order tweak, and the sacrifice of a chicken by the light of a full moon to get Windows 7 running flawlessly on the new drive. The magician software is very nice, but the Migration software was a total waste of time.

I used this with an older Dell Latitude, i5. It really cranked up the startup speed.

This is easy to install & value for money.

I ordered this SSD for a new PC build. I installed the hardware and booted from a Win 10 USB drive to install the system. Allowed Windows to partition the drive and went on my merry way. After going through all of the Windows install and updates, installing system drivers, etc., I discovered that my system was reporting only 500GB of storage. Certainly this cant be right, I bought a 2TB SSD. After racking my brain and expending a lot of effort to try to figure out what happened, I re-examined the box. The manufacturers label on the box indeed says 500GB. The sticker that was affixed by God knows who says 2TB (see the photos, unbelievable!). I certainly paid the $279 for a 2TB drive but received a 500GB mislabeled as a 2TB. Even if I do eventually receive what I ordered, it means whoever was responsible for this has wasted a lot of my time.

I did some research before buying this hard drive. The benchmark tests on this drive were Superior to many other similar ones. The Evo 870 is a great all around hard drive and definitely increased the speed of my computer. Ive owned many hard drives and I really like this one.

I swapped my single 1TB 2.5 Sata HD for a 1 TB Samsung EVO Solid State as well as added 2 additional 1TB Samsung EVO Solid State drives into a RAID configuration and my computer went from slow, slow, slow to just rock in’. Yes, I’m a happy camper.
