Replaced the hard drive in the laptop with this SSD. It greatly reduced the boot time and improved the responsiveness of the laptop.

Bought 2 of these for my laptops. They both cloned from the other mechanical hard drives just fine. Really a big improvement in boot up time. Now just waiting to see how long they will last. I feel like they are good SSD’s for the price.

I have bee the IT support for a 4 person company for 30 years now....my family. I have replaced all traditional HDs with Samsung SSDs. I use 500gb for a separate drive for the OS and other non-game installs only. Never had a problem with anyone but the 250 I bought...too small!. I used that one for a friend that DOESNT game and its still working fine for her.

I dont recommend anyone using mechanical drives unless cost is a major issue like on NAS. The SATA SSD is the best available storage upgrade for older computers. Highly recommend this drive since cost is reasonable and way more reliable than mechanical drives. This is especially true for computers that are difficult to open like laptops & all in ones.

Upgraded my 2011 MacBook Pro with this SSD & immediately it was faster, no problems, very satisfied. Definitely would buy again.

Works quite well. For those who say it’s not plug and play. All you have to do is format the SSD thru windows. Takes about 3 minutes to install and format

Great SSD. Great value $$ per GB. Not the newest tech but proven speed and reliability.. Good software (Samsung Magician) that allows optimization of the drive.
