great ssd to upgrade a late 2009 i Mac desktop. easy cloning with disk utility.

I got this to upgrade the storage in my original model PS4 that was slow and out of space for digital games purchased through the Playstation Store. I was able to physically swap this into the console in place of the original HDD and reload system firmware in less than an hour. The actual install of the SSD takes roughly 5-10 mins with nothing more than a small Phillips head screwdriver. The rest of the time is waiting for the OS to reinstall. This is noticeably faster than the old HDD, though not by a jaw-dropping amount. For example, a digital copy of Far Cry 5 installed on the SSD loaded my save file in about 30% less time than the same game running on the old HDD. It is also much quieter due to not having moving parts, which is nice too. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Fast and affordable!

It was a very good deal on a great ssd. Moved data and worked first time it booted. I replace a 500g with this upgraded 1terbite drive. love the speed and performance so far.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I installed this disk in my Synology NAS (preferring it over a magnetic disk because SSDs dont make any noise) and it died after only 6 months. Would not recommend.

This is a great product and was very easy to install, did not have any issues installing and getting computer to recognize this drive. Did not rate Tech Support since it was not needed. Only thing that I think should be included with this drive is some mounting screws since my computer tower already had positions for a couple SSDs. Would definitely recommend this item.
