I was extremely hesitant to switch my computer over from an HDD to a SSD. I didnt think id get the write speeds as advertised, didnt think Id see any significant difference in the operation of my PC and thought the cloning process would be cumbersome. I was wrong on all 3 accounts! I have a 4-5 year old Dell desktop that was SLOW to boot up and SLOW to load programs. Installing and cloning this SSD was a snap and the boot up speed are AWESOME. I wish I would have made the switch a year or two ago. If you are still running your operating system from an HDD, switch to this SSD now... you will not regret it.

Standard fast drive, one day was gaming and it locked up. 100% use, freezing the computer, cant format it, cant fix it, cant clean it. Totally inaccessible in every possible sense you can imagine. Spent like 5 hours trying to change registry keys to do power management, doing safe mode, swapping cables...straight up bricked.

Replaced my old hard drive with this ssd. Installed Windows 10 on it and didnt have any problems except that I had to delete the partitions first. It is very fast and definitely a good upgrade.

I saved $500.00 because my computer was very slow and now it is 10X faster. Installation was easy, took me about an hour to get my computer running like a charm again.

Ive now got 3 of these installed. I absolutely love these hard drives! Super fast, plenty of space and you cannot get anything better at that price point!

This product is great, I just wish it was more visible on the page that I needed to get a SATA cable to install it, as I intend on keeping my old SSD in addition to this one

I have a couple of 850 Pro SSD drives and this 870 is just an EVO but performs as well as the 850 Pro that costs more. I also like the software that they have that lets you over-provision it.
