Samsung SSDs are The standard that all other SSDs are measured by, this drive is no exception. I bought the 250GB version as a boot drive for a new build. Its extremely fast with a small increase in speed compared the the 860 EVO that I also own. Both are similar in reliability with 1.5 million MTBF (mean time between failures).

The Samsung 870 EVO SSD breathed new life into my old Dell XPS desktop that was really starting to slow down. It is no longer painful to use! I highly recommend ordering the SABRENT 3.5-Inch to x2 SSD / 2.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive Mounting Kit (also from Amazon) if you are installing it in a destop PC. It was my first time installing a SSD myself and it went very smoothly!

Ive bought a couple of these and its a BIG plus to add speed to a older computer system and the brand is great with lots of support.

Has been working great since I installed it. I bought it at a great price for a 2TB SSD too. No complaints here.

as expected but expensive

This 500gb SSD ended up in my new parts inventory. I really like the Samsung SSDs and I have purchases many in the past. I recommend this Samsung 870 EVO SATA 2.5 Internal SSD to any one looking for a good SSD
