Super easy installation and works as intended. After coming to a ssd from a hardrive it was honestly surprising how much faster it is. On a hardrive my boot times we about 5-8 minutes (granted it was very old) and on this its now 30 seconds from pressing the power button to getting into the windows desktop. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap boot drive but if possible get a nvme ssd (check if your motherboard supports it) cause that would make it even faster.

It ded! (RIP)

My hard drive was recently giving me trouble, 2 bad sectors and over 4 years run time. Ordered this, installed ubuntu without trouble and boot time is like 2 seconds now. Way faster than my mechanical western digital drive, at least as it was at the end of its life. Ill update my review if it fails on me anytime in the near future, but so far so good!

Fit in my laptop way faster than the old hard drive

This SSD has been very stable under Monterey.

I used ease to do backup to clone my old spin drive, installed it in my PC, works perfect, boots and loads MUCH quicker and locates files much quicker also. I put it in an old dell optiplex 780 windows 7, just works !
