My son has had this monitor for a few years and is very pleased with its performance.

Replaced a HDD that had failed in my son-in-laws laptop. Installation was easy and setup successful. They are enjoying the speed of a SSD.

My only problem was transferring the system to the new disk. MS backup is not helpful. I used a third party app successfully. Use CrystalDiskInfo to track expected lifetime. Get a disk at least twice your actual requirements so it can spread your data and avoid pounding the same cells.

For some time, I have kept all my data and media on external drives (or in the cloud) so that when I change computers, all I have to do is start up the new unit (with the OS already in place) and it takes much less time than continually transferring data. So I used this SSD in an external enclosure and it works like a charm. The only problem is that I ordered the 1Tb when I should have ordered the 2Tb...but thats my bad. The drive, itself seems to work perfectly...certainly as expected (and much faster than an HDD of corresponding size).

The Samsung 870 EVO replaced an existing SATA hard drive in a laptop. The system booted much fast and the overall performance of the laptop increased by a factor of10 plus. High recommended.

Works with Prores RAW on the Atomos Ninja V! Wait for the deal and it will be a steal!

Now PC finally has no moving partz.
