Like it states zero sound, now I hear the sump pump

Now I am able to see the water flow and get rid of any noise.

This check valve is used for removing flood water. It worked when first installed, kept the water in the hose from flooding the basin. After it sat for a few days, when the pump came on again, the flapper wouldnt open to pass water. Pump works just fine with check valve removed. I removed the check valve and cleaned the seal surface, it worked next time but when it sat for a few days, flapper wouldnt open next time it was needed. Not reliable at all if you depend on it not letting water return to the basin then emptying the basin when needed.

The old one knocked off so hard and loud I thought the neighbors could hear! Now I need to check and see that the sump pump is on! Silent! Did it myself - easy.

Using with a pond recirculating pump to keep the pump primed when not running. After a short, while, small debris in the water stream tends to cause the valve to not seal completely. Still aids in shortening the time it takes for the pump to reprime on restart so we feel it seems to help.

Perfect operation....SILENT and the thumping like cheap ones do at pump shut down gone

This valve worked great. Almost completely silent any time my sump pump ran. But after only about 2 and half months the spring on the flapper failed causing a loud “water hammer” noise, which is what I bought this valve to eliminate in the first place. I reached out to customer support and got a nearly immediate response offering a direct replacement or refund. However, it has been about 2 weeks since I asked for said refund and now I can’t get any response at all.
