Was exactly what I wanted, works as promised.

Barely better than the previous valve that shut with a clunk that would wake the dead. This valve is actually quieter than the pump itself. Ready to install, works well.

I bought this valve because the one installed by the builder is so noisy and wake me up at night everytime the pump runs. After installing this valve, it is super quiet, I cannot even hear it and have a good sleep. Love it.

This check valve eliminated the thump I would get from the replaced one. My sump pump sits right under my family room and with the old valve it sounded so loud I thought things were going to fall apart. But this one eliminated the noise so well I had to listen carefully too make sure my pump was working.

I ordered 2 of these and installed them both. I was so impressed by how much more quiet these are compared to any of them in the big box stores. No more air hammering noises! So quiet! So I ordered 2 more of them! A bit pricey compared to others but you definitely get what you pay for. Also its a plus that you can see through it! Dont hesitate and just buy the dam thing!

Goodbye water hammering. We purchased our current house in Oct. 2022. Our last house didnt have a sump pump, so we werent sure what the loud banging was at first. After some googling, I realized it was the check valve on the sump pump. The noise annoyed us most of the winter, and we really knew it had to stop once we found out were expecting our first child (due in July). I finally ordered this valve and swapped it out this morning. The sump pump kicked on a couple minutes later. No more water hammering. For anyone wondering, the pipe coming out of our sump pump is 1-1/4 galvanized. I was able to tighten the 1-1/2 sleeves on this valve enough, but I would recommend getting reducer sleeves (1-1/2x1-1/4).

Works like a charm and it does not leak. My old one leaked and kept kicking my supm pump on. I tested the replacement and it too leaked so i decided to stop all my cheapo nonsense and get one that was highly rated. The bonus is you can see it working.

It does what it says it will do, which is to be silent! Only time will determine how durable it is, and how long it lasts.
