It was very easy to replace the old noisy check valve, and is so much quieter especially when the pump stops flowing and the valve shuts. Will update review long term.

My sump pumps runs every 15 minutes and the old check valve could be heard throughout our house. There is a 6 lift from the pump to the discharge with the valve installed near the bottom. The new check valve was easy to install and doesnt make a sound when operating, it works as described!

This check valve eliminated the thump I would get from the replaced one. My sump pump sits right under my family room and with the old valve it sounded so loud I thought things were going to fall apart.
