> 3 dayThe screen works fantastically and looks beautiful. But the speakers sound like a headphone playing inside of a tin can and are awful. They should have just not included speakers if they were going to be this bad.

> 3 dayi am using these for documents. if you are working on color critical images, go with the ezio or other high end monitor intended for color accuracy. I use two of these because I always have multiple documents open that I reference. the text is crystal clear. i use an amd radeon rx580 graphics card with 8gb ram and two of these monitors cabled with displayport cables. a bit of overkill but i didnt have to install any special driver for these monitors to work. i did turn the brightness down to 50%. they were too bright for my liking. i set both monitors to the same settings for brightness, contrast, etc. i dragged a document between both monitors and i can see they are not close to being the same in color and brightness. this is why i wouldnt recommend them for real world graphic or photographic work. for the price it was well worth it and it serves my purpose. so far, so good.

> 3 dayWhen hooked up to my computer (2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro), the screen intermittently flickers, and vertical stripes appear, most intensely in the upper corners. The flickering/stripes emerge based on whats on the screen (i.e. it can be reproduced consistently) but Im not exactly sure what causes it. I have tested both the included HDMI cable and another 4k, 60Hz HDMI cable, as well as two ports on the computer. Further, have manipulated several settings on my computer (toggling NightShift on the mac, different display color profiles, refresh rates, display resolutions), and every possible setting in the Philips OSD (on screen display) menu. I contacted customer service, and they sent me a new monitor, but the problem persists on the new monitor. Other monitors work well with the computer, so it cant be my computer. I have read online about some people experiencing the same problem, with no definite solution. One suggestion is to configure the computer to “Force RGB” color via some terminal commands, but this doesnt seem to be an option for the latest version of macOS. I thought this could be a bug with the macOS software, since it is dependent on what’s on the screen, however, I can sometimes trigger the flickering just by bringing up the Philips OSD menu, so it can’t just be a defect in the signal being received by the computer. Manipulating the various settings in the OSD menu can cause the flickering to be magnified or recede, but not disappear completely. It is frustrating that this expensive monitor does not work well out of the box with the latest, state-of-the-art computer. When its not flickering, the screen, picture quality, brightness, etc. is great. However the flickering makes it unusable in my case.

> 3 dayA very nice monitor. Colors and resolution are excellent. However, the stand has only a single height and the hinge that attaches the stand to the monitor is very narrow. So as I type if the desk shakes at all, the monitor wiggles a lot. A somewhat wider hinge would have entirely solved this problem. The controls are buttons on the underside of the right edge of the monitor. I like having real buttons. But the icons identifying what the buttons do and how to navigate the on-screen menu are in dark gray color on a black bezel. Unless youre in a brightly lit room, you cant tell what the buttons do. (Which one is up/down, left/right, etc.?) Its frustrating because I dont use them often enough that I get the needed muscle memory. . . . . Update after 1 month of use: Removed a star. Even after learning them, the controls for changing between inputs are so unwieldy that I am returning the monitor. Ive never used a monitor this difficult to switch between inputs. It takes pressing four buttons and praying that the monitor will pause long enough to acknowledge the new source (direct connected, no KVM) before switching back to the present input--which it frequently does not do, so you have try repeatedly to get it to see your input source. Im guessing most of the reviews here use it on a single source only, otherwise there would be a lot more complaints about this.

> 3 dayI was searching a long time for a monitor that was ultrawide, curved, with USB-C, and PBP. My previous monitor was VA, and I tend to work in a dark room, so I prefer VA for the deeper blacks. I have a laptop I want to hook up to the USB-C port (that can be charged also) and my desktop PC hooked up to the display port. Eventually I stumbled across this one and it checked all the boxes. Im pretty satisfied, and would recommend it. The screen is large and beautiful, with a good curve. I mounted it on the Amazon Basics arm and it looks really great. There is a USB hub, but it is meant for the USB-B connection, not the USB-C so keep that in mind. The hub ports wont switch between inputs - they stay with whichever computer is connected to that USB-B port. I havent used the PBP that much, but it did work when I tried it. The built in speakers are ok, but I hooked up some external speakers to the aux port and they switch between inputs fine. There has been a few times that Windows didnt detect the monitor speakers, but havent seen that issue lately - a reboot usually resolves this. Also, I am able to run my monitor at 100hz also without any problems - I have an AMD RX570 graphics card on my desktop. Overall, at this price this was a great purchase. I was considering other monitors that were in the $700 range with similar features. Some of them had USB input switching (i.e. kvm) but Im ok without that.

02-11-2024I got this curved screen monitor on the recommendation of a trusted friend. I like Phillips brand and I get them when purchasing new monitors at work. I am very happy with the curved screen. I like the look a feel. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you do Its great!

> 3 dayIn recent years Ive been impressed by Phillips products -- quality, and innovation, so I got my 1st Philips 328E1CA 32 Curved Monitor with high expectations. Picture quality is perfect, color depth and brightness superb! Runs perfectly cool and quiet. Now I run 2 of these -- one on each side of my 16 MacBook Pro and VERY pleased -- I would recommend these to anyone. PROS: Good value, superb picture quality, tilt adjustable CONS: Only improvement might be height adjustable, but at this price point Im not complaining.

Greater than one weekUnboxed this monitor looks beautiful. Plugged in, the options buttons made it awkward to navigate. Screen resolution is not what I expected. But I will have to call customer support to see if I can press a button to improve it. I was able to plug in my monitor and use it on my laptop. But when I went to dual displays (I know how to add it folks) It wasnt recognized. Mind you, I have not downloaded the software to use this screen yet. Do I need to? I think so. I bought this because of Phillips has some of the best tv monitors on the market. Ok, I confess, I bought it for my home office. I telecommute. I have external bose speakers for ultimate sound. The monitor is not plug and play external sound. I have to call phillips. So I gave this monitor a 4. I don t think I should have to call customer service to do dual screens by using their plug into my computer. No troubleshooting worked.

> 3 dayIts a great looking screen with a good feature set and good specs for the price. I really like the buttons and menus as they make it super easy to change settings, unlike many monitors these days. There are really only two things that prevented me from giving 5 stars: First, PBP/PIP feature only works with certain combinations of connections. Unfortunately, it does not work with HDMI on one device and USB-C on the other. So for my use case with a Mac Mini (HDMI) and Macbook Pro (USB-C), Im not able to do PBP/PIP. I ordered a USB-C to DisplayPort for the Mac Mini to see if this fixes the issue as USB-C/DP is one of the combinations that the manual says works. Second, the cable management is subpar. As you can see from the pictures on the item listing, its just a couple of tabs on the back of the monitor stand. The cables do not go through/hide in the monitor stand as they do with many other monitors on the market. The power cable specifically shows without using something else to hold it up (see photo) The PBP/PIP issue may be a deal breaker for me as I specifically bought this monitor over others for this function, but I can live with the cable management. Update: The USB-C to DisplayPort and USB-C combination worked for PIP/PBP. Using this monitor in combination with Logitech mouse/keyboard with flow technology allows me to very easily work with both computers side by side & switch peripherals easily.
