I searched long and hard for a new monitor, primarily in the 27 range. However, this 32 one caught my eye because of the attractive mix of 4K resolution, 60 hz refresh, an IPS panel and (most importantly) the price. I dont do too many first person shooters, so the fastest response time isnt critical to me. The screen looks great, the curved surface really does seem to make a difference. That 4K resolution makes everything look so sharp and clear. The only down side is that any low-resolution web images show every flaw. Its very bright, maybe TOO bright. Youll want to turn down the default setting. It has several settings for tweaking the screen, such as low-blue mode, which I have not used. I noticed a little bit of smearing when I scroll web pages, but its not too bad. The on-screen menus are well laid out and the control buttons work well, not like another monitor I have where you really have to push hard on them, then they give you 2 or 3 jumps and you overshoot your intended setting. There is a shortcut on one of the buttons to directly control the speaker volume, so you dont have to dig through the entire menu just to do that. I tried using the built-in speakers for my front-center channel, but they sound pretty bad. Its nice and stable on the base and the styling looks good. All-in-all a great monitor that I hope to use for many years.

Not by any means a high end monitor, but it works well and has very nice features for the money. USB-C pass-through charging combined with picture delivery is a very nice comfort feature for such a cheap product. I use this for programming and reading mostly, and while the resolution is not amazing, it is more than good enough. Speakers suck but really who was expecting good ones? Probably the best value ultrawide out there right now, as far as I know.

I got this curved screen monitor on the recommendation of a trusted friend. I like Phillips brand and I get them when purchasing new monitors at work. I am very happy with the curved screen. I like the look a feel. It takes a bit to get used to, but once you do Its great!

Unboxed this monitor looks beautiful. Plugged in, the options buttons made it awkward to navigate. Screen resolution is not what I expected. But I will have to call customer support to see if I can press a button to improve it. I was able to plug in my monitor and use it on my laptop. But when I went to dual displays (I know how to add it folks) It wasnt recognized. Mind you, I have not downloaded the software to use this screen yet. Do I need to? I think so. I bought this because of Phillips has some of the best tv monitors on the market. Ok, I confess, I bought it for my home office. I telecommute. I have external bose speakers for ultimate sound. The monitor is not plug and play external sound. I have to call phillips. So I gave this monitor a 4. I don t think I should have to call customer service to do dual screens by using their plug into my computer. No troubleshooting worked.

This curved monitor is a slight curve. For basic use as a computer monitor I highly recommend it. For the value and quality I give it a 95% great rating. The 5% is minimal to the only problem that I had. The instructions to set it up or marginal at best. However it is not difficult. The mounting screw for the stand can easily be cross-threaded. Otherwise I would highly recommend this monitor to anybody. This monitor is very adaptable to Everyday computer use. Office use, home computer use, and simple gaming. My flight simulator Graphics are fantastic. Now I just need to upgrade my graphics card.

I was initially concerned about buying a Philips monitor because I assumed the quality would not be on par with other well-known brands. The reasonable price, 4 year warranty, and good reviews are what led me to settle on this monitor. PANEL The screen itself is bright. I tend to keep the brightness level around 85-90. 1. Text looks clear both in the middle and the sides 2. Contrast is good 3. Images look great 4. Colors are quite accurate - I have not made any changes to customize the colors of the panel. Out of the box the colors looked good to me. I am not planning on using this monitor for editing photos. I have another monitor that is more geared towards creative work. AESTHETICS The whole monitor looks great. Even the back has sort of a brushed look. I love it! CURVE I really enjoy the curve. I have heard some people say that the curve takes time to get used to, but getting used to it seemed easy to me. I dont think I would want a monitor wider than this. The size is perfect. Thankfully the monitor I received was in perfect condition. No dead pixels. Philips dead pixel policy is not clear at all. I hope that this will never be an issue. The 4 year warranty seems pretty awesome. Seems like Philips will stand behind their product. GAMES I have not yet tested any serious games on this monitor, but I will soon and post an update here. I did play some Roblox and the game filled the whole screen. Any content that fills the whole screen is really awesome. USB-C My work laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad. The USB-C port on the laptop where I plug the power adapter did nothing when I connected the monitor using the supplied USB-C cable. This is probably a misunderstanding on my part. There is a secondary USB-C port on the laptop that has an energy bolt next to it. When I plugged the monitor into that USB-C port, the laptop displayed on the monitor in 1440p, and the laptop was receiving a charge from the monitor. Pretty amazing. STAND The stand is very sturdy. The screen can tilt up & down, twist left and right, and can raise up & down. Very happy with this. SPEAKERS The speakers are great if you consider they are built-in speakers, not dedicated reference monitors. Its a very welcomed addition, and they do the job. PURPOSE People may settle on this monitor for different reasons. For me the biggest reason was work. Having this monitor for work is a total dream. I am an IT engineer, so being able to have Visual Studio Code, PowerShell, Outlook, and the Azure portal all open at the same time (I have a 2nd monitor) really helps with productivity. A creative professional may want to avoid the curve and go for a panel with even higher color accuracy. A gamer might want more than 100hz to keep gameplay as smooth as possible. If you are looking for more screen real estate and you want to be more productive, then this monitor is for you. Side note: Amazons characteristics for this item dont make any sense. They asked me to give a rating for the sheerness and thickness of the monitor.

The resolution is kind of low for the size of the screen, you would be better off with 1440p or 144hz if you want to game. The sound is okay, but its underwhelming even for a monitor speaker. This would be pretty good as a secondary monitor. Its Vesa compatible, so I have it turned sideways next to my main monitor to make reading webpages easier.

I like it overall. The curved screen is really a good idea (I thought it might be a gimmick). The LCD panel is very uniform as compared to an LG monitor that I had recently purchased, and I cant find any bad pixels - all good things. I only have three negatives and they arent very big. First the blue splash screen when it starts up is blinding. If you leave the monitor on all the time and just let it sleep then this will not be an issue for you. Secondly, sometimes when the monitor wakes up the screen looks washed-out. Power cycling it fixes this. The final minor issue is that the minimum brightness is too bright to use the monitor in a dimly lit room.
