Not by any means a high end monitor, but it works well and has very nice features for the money. USB-C pass-through charging combined with picture delivery is a very nice comfort feature for such a cheap product. I use this for programming and reading mostly, and while the resolution is not amazing, it is more than good enough. Speakers suck but really who was expecting good ones? Probably the best value ultrawide out there right now, as far as I know.

I am a business user and not a gamer. The refresh may not be up to snuff for a hardcore gamer, but my daughters boyfriend declared it pretty good for a 60hz monitor. I have had no issues or complaints. I unboxed it,plugged it in (with a nice braided display-port cable that I bought with the monitor https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0861QVLHQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and started using it. I found the monitor too bright when I first started using it. Ive turned it down 3 times and now Im set at 68% brightness; 50% Contrast and 70% Sharpness. Ive not touched anything about color, gamma or color temperature and it seems really nice. Ive not tried any photo editing. I do a lot of text editing, spreadsheets, CAD and CAD PDM and solid models and drawing views are very nice. Text is highly legible. Im super happy with this purchase and would recommend this monitor. I dont know if there is any performance difference with HDMI connection instead of DP, so YMMV!

Just received the monitor and I love it. Very clear and very bright. I like that it tilts down if necessary. The stand seems sturdy but it DOES NOT go up or down so if youre looking for one that does that, this is not the monitor for you. My desk is by a window so my laptop ALWAYS has a glare. I read reviews about this monitor and they all said there was no glare. Well, they were exactly right. My monitor is right next to a huge window and there is literally ZERO glare. I wish my TV was like that! I use this monitor for work so Im not sure how it is in regards to gaming. If youre looking for an inexpensive and quality monitor for browsing, spreadsheets, etc., this one is perfect. This is also the first curved monitor I have ever owned and I absolutely love it. Much easier viewing and I will definitely get curved ones moving forward.

Currently (2020), this is a great value for a 32” curved 4K UHD monitor. I read many reviews and watched quite a few monitor reviews on YouTube before landing on this display. I use it for work, so I can’t comment on its gaming performance (although some YouTube reviews show that it does a respectable job). Documents look amazing, and I really appreciate the extra real estate. Adjusted to the curve instantly, and now I’m so glad that I went with a curved display. Brightness was too high for me out of the box, as I prefer working in low lighting, so I’ve turned it way down, and I never get fatigued looking at it. Very satisfied with this purchase. In the photo, the monitor on the left is a 24” panel for comparison. You can also see the anti reflective coating on the Philips, but it’s more subtle when looking directly at the monitor, and it doesn’t bother me at all (I was afraid it would). Oh, and I was originally looking at ultra wide displays, but couldn’t find a high enough resolution in that format. So glad I went with this instead!

This model is updated, in fact, the pictures don’t match what was shipped for one small but critical detail. The USB-C port is much more capable in the newer version. For starters, the USB-B hub is gone. The hub is now integrated with the USB-C port, making this connection option an excellent port expander for Macs. The USB-C also carries audio signal through it. The DisplayPort and HDMI also carry audio. This means switching between two computers, like Windows and Mac, is very easy, with one set of speakers connected to the audio port. Only issue I faced was low refresh rates in MacOS via USB-C. Idk exactly how I fixed it. The monitor documentation says that 3440x1440@100Hz is only supported on DP and HDMI. That much is true. But USB-C seemed pegged at 30Hz and no way to correct it in Settings. Eventually I connected the Mac via a USB-C to DP dongle and that opened up the refresh rate option in Settings, then reconnecting back via USB-C allowed me to finally select 75Hz because it appears the Mac finally figured out that it was DP over USB-C capable. This was in Monterey. Have not tested with Ventura yet.

Ok, it looks good. It does. Although the refresh rate is only 30Hz, which may make it unsuitable for some games, it looks very nice -- and is perfectly fine for programming and office work. The original recipient complained, it is TOO LARGE, so I took for my own office -- and am happy. The downsides are: * No DVI-port. I have thick DVI cables running through walls (my computers are in a room of their own), and a DVI-to-HDMI adapter resulted in poor picture (badly-looking fonts and other defects). I had to buy DisplayPort cable -- a long one (20 meters) -- and route it through the doorway, but now the picture is great. * The DisplayPort has two modes: 1.1 and 1.2. No 1.4 -- not sure, if itd matter to anyone.

Absolutely amazing monitor, cannot recommend it enough. Screen is sharp and bright, very sleek and looks fantastic on the desk. The curve is actually quite effective and Ive noticed an increase in productivity in front of it. Havent tested the speakers yet, but if youre interested, sound will still come through my Macbooks speakers when both connected and closed. The price is simply unbeatable, too. Great product from Philips.

I originally purchased a Samsung 34 curved with USB-C docking, thunderbolt, etc for around $200 more. 3 months into it, it broke and they were a nightmare to deal with regarding a repair/replacement so I got a refund and purchased this Philips instead. That first monitor malfunctioning was the best thing that could have happened. The Good: Im very satisfied withe the overall performance of the Philips. Easy to connect to both my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air using the thunderbolt cable for charging and audio/video signal transfer. Picture quality is solid, I dont game so I cant make any reference to that but the screen real-estate and curvature are excellent, can work for hours without fatigue. It really is a game changer. You can have 3 full sized windows open at the same time and some smaller ones, the configurations are endless. Im sure there are many features that I havent event tapped into but, for an everyday work-from-home solution, its great. Cons: I cant get the USB-C docking station to work properly, havent reached out to customer service yet but thus far hasnt been a major point of contention. The Speaker sound is mediocre at best, if youre going to watch movies or videos and sound quality is important, id recommend using headphones or upgrade to external speakers. Overall very happy with this monitor, lets hope it lasts.

Six months ago, my engineering friend built me a powerful desktop and I had a nice 4K Asus Designo monitor. The problem is that my computer didnt have a graphics card. My friend assumed I didnt need one because Im not a gamer. However, the 4K Asus needed a graphics card. Unable to get my hands on the new-gen RTX 3080 models, I settled with a GeForce GTX 1050Ti. It worked better, but the screen would black-out during Zoom classes with my students, so I settled on this Philips 1080P curved frameless monitor. My daughters have the 24-inch model, which I like, so I got the 27 inch. Big mistake. With 1080p, the flaws show up in anything bigger than 24. Another problem: While my 1080p monitor no longer blacks-out during Zoom, it still lags, so it didnt really solve my problem. Worse news is that coming from a 4k monitor to this 1080 is hard. The letters on Google Docs and Windows are a bit grainy and blurred compared to my Asus. Video images are not as sharp and bright either. The overall look is cheap. I did improve the images a little by going into screen settings, and changing the default of 60Hz to 75Hz. But in truth, this Philips is just a stop-gap measure. As soon as I get an RTX 3080 graphics card, Im switching back to my Asus 4K.
