> 3 dayUnboxed this monitor looks beautiful. Plugged in, the options buttons made it awkward to navigate. Screen resolution is not what I expected. But I will have to call customer support to see if I can press a button to improve it. I was able to plug in my monitor and use it on my laptop. But when I went to dual displays (I know how to add it folks) It wasnt recognized. Mind you, I have not downloaded the software to use this screen yet. Do I need to? I think so. I bought this because of Phillips has some of the best tv monitors on the market. Ok, I confess, I bought it for my home office. I telecommute. I have external bose speakers for ultimate sound. The monitor is not plug and play external sound. I have to call phillips. So I gave this monitor a 4. I don t think I should have to call customer service to do dual screens by using their plug into my computer. No troubleshooting worked.

> 3 dayThis model is updated, in fact, the pictures don’t match what was shipped for one small but critical detail. The USB-C port is much more capable in the newer version. For starters, the USB-B hub is gone. The hub is now integrated with the USB-C port, making this connection option an excellent port expander for Macs. The USB-C also carries audio signal through it. The DisplayPort and HDMI also carry audio. This means switching between two computers, like Windows and Mac, is very easy, with one set of speakers connected to the audio port. Only issue I faced was low refresh rates in MacOS via USB-C. Idk exactly how I fixed it. The monitor documentation says that 3440x1440@100Hz is only supported on DP and HDMI. That much is true. But USB-C seemed pegged at 30Hz and no way to correct it in Settings. Eventually I connected the Mac via a USB-C to DP dongle and that opened up the refresh rate option in Settings, then reconnecting back via USB-C allowed me to finally select 75Hz because it appears the Mac finally figured out that it was DP over USB-C capable. This was in Monterey. Have not tested with Ventura yet.

> 3 dayNot sure why there are any negative reviews on this monitor. This is one of the few reviews Ive written, but I believe any less than stellar reviews are from those who have not read how to best utilize the monitor. I have no opinion on gaming, as I use this for work, so there may be a difference there. But, for anyone who wants a terrific 4k monitor at a very fair price, this is it. I use it with a 2017 MacBook Air, connected with a DPL cable to the thunderbolt port. DO NOT USE THE HDMI CABLE, as you might not get the full benefit of the crystal clear and crisp resolution this monitor provides. At least that is the case for connecting to the 2017 MacBook Air. Spend the extra $6 and get yourself a Thunderbolt to DPL cable (if you are like me and dont have a full size DPL port, and cant use the provided DPL cable). Buy it.

> 3 dayI was using a Samsung 4K 40 television(it did chroma 4:4:4) as a monitor. I needed a replacement when my Samsung had image retention(burn in) after owning it for just a year. So no more Samsung for me. It was difficult to find a large fairly priced monitor that did 4K. Almost all the monitors I looked at cost more than TVs that did 4K in large sizes(how is it a 55 4K TV costs less than a 28-32 monitor that did 4K?). I was deciding between this monitor and an LG model. My brother has an LG monitor that required repairs several times since he bought it. I didnt want to experience that. So I took a gamble on this Philips not knowing anyone or ever owning one myself. No regrets since! The curve display did concern me at first. However, I got used to it after a few minutes and hasnt been a problem since. The curve is subtle. Its not a deep distracting curve. I promise it vanishes after playing with the monitor for just a few minutes. I dont notice it anymore. It doesnt affect me at all when working on photoshop or illustrator. This is great for graphic artists and gamers. PROS: AMAZING PRICE! great colors, no heat coming from it, simple stand with tilt, easy to setup, lots of ports, all cables included(1 hdmi, 1 display port) CONS: speakers are weak, wish the black levels were better(no comparison to OLED obviously), no height adjustment, and the box it came in seemed wasteful cause it was so big. Philips, keep up the good work. You definitely have a game changer here. 32 4k 60hz display for less than $350! Amazing deal for amazing quality.

Greater than one weekThe screen works fantastically and looks beautiful. But the speakers sound like a headphone playing inside of a tin can and are awful. They should have just not included speakers if they were going to be this bad.

> 3 dayI’m a huge fan of the Philips brand, this doesn’t disappoint at all. Great picture, clarity is amazing. I do wish this came with a remote but hey it’s not a tv but that would be a great luxury. I use this with my M1 Mac mini. And will definitely recommend to anyone.

> 3 dayLooks great, feels sturdy, performs well, and is priced modestly. Hooking up my laptop to it via USB-C works like a charm. Recommend.

Greater than one weekThe image quality of this monitor is stunning, and it is the most cost effective 32 4K curved monitor on the market, with only $300. The speakers work fine for regular use. The input will automatically default to the one with signals. But if you simultaneous has too inputs, such as a desktop and a laptop, switching between the two requires several clicks of buttons below the monitor. The desk top control app does not allow you to choose input. Overall, it is a great monitor.
