> 3 dayDo not buy. Sound and picture will be on a delay from each other. The audio is only available though a 3.5M Jack. Can only play audio in analog not digital. Cannot connect to a sound bar. The customer service is not helpful. Tells you to go to a website.

> 3 daySecond Optoma projector. Picture is great. But there are only two attachment points for mounting hardware. My previous Optoma unit had four. Three is the minimum needed for a secure mount. The one on the top Left is integral with the housing and not removable. The second image shows this close up see that it can be appreciated. This is a MAJOR issue for anyone wishing to mount to the ceiling. If you intend to mount a projector from your ceiling, you must find a different unit or tap at least one more hole in the housing to give you three points. Extremely poor design. Optics aside, two stars only for this major design faux pas.

> 3 dayAt 600 bucks you can’t go wrong with this sure you can pay 2000 and 3000 but I don’t think it’s worth it. I bought $120 projector and it was really good. I was surprised I got this one and it has a few more shells and whistles, but as far as the picture quality, it probably went from 82% to 95%. I bet if I got a projector that was $3000 it probably be another 5% better but after a few days, I’m not sure I would really notice that much. So far this is held up if it breaks down and starts getting crappy. I’ll do a new review I’m really happy this really has helped increase our entertainment pleasure.

> 3 dayHad it for a month so far and very pleased, far better than the dated one I replaced. Bolted right up to old universal mount. I dont use the volume on it, so cant comment on that. As far as fan noise, we dont notice it when watching movies/playing games. Only downside: mine turned on without giving option for language, took me a while to figure out how to get it back to English...that and no directions in the box is really annoying...will update later if needs be.

> 3 dayI own a BenQ HT2050 too. This new Optoma is terrible! Remote doesnt work. Colors are wildly inaccurate. Overall the picture quality doesnt hold a stick against my BenQ. This is worth maybe $200. Horrible projector.

> 3 dayThe only negative is lack of audio. Either audio system or headset fixes the trick...good for on the go and perfect for gaming.

> 3 dayAfter upgrading from my 6 year old viewsonic projector, only because a lot of the parts are discontinued I figured I’d try something new and this was the best priced unit for all my needs .. I play/ watch moves on my projectors so the picture has to be perfect which it is, love the way it looks and the way the remote lights up .. my only complaint would be that it runs really hot but I mounted a box fan with a filter and on it and problem solved
