Greater than one weekThis projector is great. We use it for outdoor movies for our neighborhood. We have to wait until dusk, but thats okay, its starting to get darker earlier now. Also, it doesnt have 4K, it takes the 4K signal and drops it to 1080. HDR I couldnt get my PS4 to recognize, and I havent figured out if its possible to enable 3D on SBS content, as I have a lot of that. EDIT: I was able to find that I could choose SBS on the projector and get my 3D movies playing.

12-11-2024Lordy lordy I love it. Its a major upgrade from what I had great picture and is fairly quiet. Can have lights on in the room and still see the picture fairly well. I give this product a 10 of 10 so far.

> 3 dayThis should be my second Optoma projector. My first one I bought 6+ years ago and it is still working perfectly. I ended up returning this product, since it had a dust spot inside the lens. I wouldnt have returned it otherwise. Although it was just barely noticeable, this product is too expensive to have such issue when new. Maybe I was just unlucky, but I would rather pay $10 more and have them doing better factory QA or being more careful when assembling the lens to avoid such inconvenience. Cons: A bit noisy (DH1011 is quieter). QA issues (dust spot inside the lens). Pros: Great image quality. Very bright. Besides that dust spot, the product seemed good.

Greater than one weekPicture quality: good User Interface: Horrible The menu only last for seven seconds which would be ok if I didnt have to read everything backwards. I unfortunately mounted to ceiling thinking I could easily invert screen. Thirty minutes later with projector on ladder and words reading left to right did I finally invert picture.

> 3 dayI’ve had this projector for about a week now. I was debating between this Optoma and a cheaper model as well as a few Epson projectors (that were backordered). I can’t speak to the longevity of this projector but it has great picture quality from about 8-9ft away it projects around 100 inches with a very clear picture and works well even during the day. Overall I think the price point is great for the value as long as you have the space.

> 3 dayThis is not a regular-use projector. Better for special occasions. I would use this as often as most people would use their TV. Less than 2 years of use and there are new dead pixels every month. I’m up to 9 now. If you’re going to buy this for regular use, it would be worth an extended warranty. You will need to return it after about a year.

> 3 dayGreat quality, that’s my first screen projector so I don’t know if it’s pricey or not but the quality and ease of use is magnificent.

Greater than one weekHad a vivitek projector that finally died and I tried to replace it with a cheaper led one. First, don’t buy or of those they are junk. This is an awesome projector for money. It’s very bright, crystal clear, the 3D is awesome. Couldn’t be happier!

> 3 dayMine isnt really focused from top to bottom. Top is somewhat blurry and cant get it to clear up. Think its got to do with my particular unit. Nice and bright for day-time watching.
