> 3 dayPicture quality is super. My vision is not so great and HDR is more than sufficient to me. The speaker is OK but you do need to have a real speaker. I am not picky in sound but you just gradually get a little bit greedier in your home theatre and want to upgrade when the picture is so great. Not sure how the lamps will work but I got extended warranty from my credit card so I guess I will be just fine. Compared with BENQ th585 (yeah I bought both..), both are 2020 version. The pic diff between the 2 is noticeable. BENQ is very user friendly and I was sold when only using it. But as soon as I switch to compare the pic quality between the 2 I can’t really go back.... so sad I have to return BENQ as it has long warranty and seemingly better customer service (from the review). But for now I have to say OPTOMA 2020 version is better.

> 3 dayLordy lordy I love it. Its a major upgrade from what I had great picture and is fairly quiet. Can have lights on in the room and still see the picture fairly well. I give this product a 10 of 10 so far.

> 3 dayBought this because I saw all of the good reviews. First, it’s somewhat pricey for not having wifi or Bluetooth. Second, it doesn’t even have the ability to power a Roku device (see image). This means that I will also need to get an extension cord to power my Roku device as well as a Bluetooth transmitter. I also noticed that the unit gets very hot on the left side and smells a bit like burning plastic.

> 3 dayI DO NOT recommend this projector. The projector is louder than expected. It doesn’t sound like the typical fan noise but like an annoying buzz. It’s distracting to have this projector on in a low ambient noise environment. After about 6 months of living with this projector which is mounted to the ceiling, a large hair has somehow found its way behind the lens. This is magnified to about 1/4 of the display height and it blows around with the fan. It basically makes the projector unusable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

> 3 dayThis projector is great! Crystal clear high def picture, focuses perfectly across the screen! I tried others, due to the angle I project from, parts of the screen remain blurry, I had to go back with an optima. Very bright, large projection, sharp image, keystone works grey even from a high angle.

> 3 day2 years in and pixels are failing. I’m up to 3 dead pixels and it is pretty distracting. I would say, this is slightly less than my expectations. You should easily get 3 hours from your projector without this sort of failure.

> 3 dayHad virtually no settings for adjusting the picture angle. No vertical lense shift, no corner correction. These should be basic standard features in any projector over $500. Picture was ok. Dont buy this. I tried to go mid-tier price range and wasted my time and ended up splurging on a $1500 one to find one that had the most basic inputs and screen adjustment settings... best of luck to you in your search
