> 24 hourThis flange saved the day. I tried all different sizes and shapes but this was the best. It fit well with the old cast iron pipe and was tight and durable. You won’t be disappointed!

> 24 hourLong story short, Ive had to rebuild my house from the studs out over the last 18 months...grrr...Im a short female nurse, NOT a general contractor! So when deciding upon which items to purchase during the last year and a half, I did a little research, read reviews, and also learned brand names in construction and how some are better than others. Thats how I decided this flange would work on my 1st floor commode. SUPER easy to install! Easily tightened the bolts so the gasket filled in the gaps. Again, no experience here and I installed just fine and its not leaking 1 year later :)

> 24 hourI am currently remodeling my bathroom and had to remove the toilet for the new tile installation. Once the toilet was removed it was revealed to have a old, rusted, and almost broken cast iron flange. It was ready to be replaced. I did my research online and decided to go with this simple replacement rather than call a plumber to install a new cast iron flange which I would assume would cost hundreds of dollars. Once I was able to chisel and hammer out the old cast iron flange, I took a wire brush and cleaned the inside pipe of any rust and debris from it(wear a mask for this part). Once the pipe was cleaned up, this flange slid right into place, no problem. I tightened up the screws that held it place very securely, added my extra large wax ring and installed the toilet with no problem. I also caulked around the base of the toilet for added protection against leaks and any movement of the toilet.

> 24 hourThis arrived fast and Im sure would have done the job. However, I didnt realize my pipe was 3 inch rather than 4 inch so I had to return and order one that would fit my pipe. It appears to be well made and a great way to replace the toilet flange.

> 24 hourWorked great for the application I was using... Had an old busted cast iron stub surrounded by crumbled concrete, removed old flange which was not the correct one and inserted cup to hold shape while I let new concrete set up (about an hour) then removed cup and inserted Oatey Cast Iron Flange Replacement,... Secured and let concrete finish setting up for a full 7 days before we set toilet due to moister etc.. Now everything has sealed up better than ever! Would defiantly recommend this!

> 24 hourtrying to save some money I decided to install new toilet myself. Pulled old toilet and found the metal flange had rusted and cracked. Also noticed the ground around the pipe had rotted away. Not being sure if a new metal flange could be bolted done properly. I called a plumber friend who suggested this product. Plastic so no rust and rubber seal feature would help hold it down. Added some grout around to fill in the rotted areas to make level as possible. Placed inside pipe tightened allen heads slowly and criss cross back and forth to make an even seal. I also tried adding a few long screws to help hold it down...but I think seal well hold it in place. success toilets in and working no problems so far. I give the product 4 stars because I think price is high but again being a novice well worth it. When the time comes for another toilet change I might try a cheaper alternative. hope this helps someone new to this.
