> 3 dayI was super skeptical when my wife told me to try magnesium supplements to help me sleep. I thought the idea was ridiculous, but I was tired of taking sleeping pills that basically had me wrecked and impaired my functionality the next day, so I gave it a shot. I was shocked when I actually felt sleepy about a half hour after taking these, and that I slept through the night but felt great the next morning, not drugged. They really do work, and via a mineral supplement, not some pharmaceutical. If you have trouble sleeping, definitely give this a shot.

> 3 daythe magnesium supplement I was using has disappeared off the shelves of the stores I go to and the price tripled on Amazon so I had to find a new brand this is a capsule which I am accustomed to taking as pills have no effect on my body. It seems to be as good as the other one I was taking so only time will tell I suppose. will add to this review if I find it does not work the price was right to try it and so I am.

> 3 dayMagnesium in most any form seems to be good for you. I know this helps with leg and foot cramping.

> 3 dayAll I know is, I havent had any nighttime leg muscle cramps ever since I started taking this about 6 months ago. EXcruciating pain, if you know what I mean. Except for when I got lazy and didnt take them for about a week. Then I started with the leg cramps again and let me tell you, Ill never stop taking them again.

> 3 daySo Im usually happy with this brand of magnesium, but the last bottle I got has a strange odor and funky, salty taste. Ive taken two of them, both at night when I wasnt fully paying attention, and each time I thought... yuck!! I finally checked this bottle out and compared it with another unopened bottle I had on hand. Something is definitely wrong with this bottle, although Im pleased that it didnt make me sick. So normally a good brand, but perhaps a bad batch? Lot# 3236432 best by 12/2026

Greater than one weekTook this for about a week and it made me feel very sick. Bloated, cramping, nausea, you name it. I then did my research on the types of magnesium included in this supplement and they are not recommended by doctors due to poor absorption, laxative qualities, and unhealthy ingredients (similar to aspartame). Will be throwing this away.

> 3 dayPros: 1. The serving size is 1 capsule, not 2 (unlike some competing products which try to dupe their customers into thinking they will get twice as much Mg per pill or capsule than they actually will) 2. Relatively small, low-friction capsules that are easy to swallow 3. Reasonably priced, though not the least expensive 4. Simple, relatively non-toxic ingredients Cons (all minor): 1. The included magnesium compounds are listed as Mg oxide, Mg citrate, and Mg aspartate, with the latter two being better absorbed by the gut and also more expensive. I wrote the manufacturer to ask what the proportions of these 3 compounds were, with the assumption that almost all of it was Mg oxide. I received the following response: The Magnesium Caps formula is proprietary. The vast majority is oxide form. 2. Although the capsules are easy to swallow, they do have a thin coating of white powder, perhaps the same material thats inside them. That powder does cause mild irritation/burning in the throat and esophagus unless followed by swallowing ample beverage or food. Though not perfect, this seems like the best Mg product out there for the value, and I plan to purchase it again.
